  • I used to get bullied really badly in Primary but they moved up to high school with me and I still get bullied quite a lot, mainly because I'm too stubborn to stand and take it, I HAVE to fight back.I can't show anyone how I feel because my friend gets bullied as well but she can't cope with it as well so I have to be strong and show her that they can't hurt me with words, but sometimes I just feel like dropping my sword and crying.

  • @DeandGinger Stay strong in him he is our Armor are rest and peace, he picks us up when we fall he drys our tears, no one can see the tears but only God can truly heal us and keep us safe! keep doing what your doing DeandGinger because when you aren't calm God is right by you holding you as his child his Daughter...I hope this didn't offend you in anyway

  • @GodsWindsofFreedom13 This did not offend. Thank you. Yes, HE is our armor, He does pick us up, and He even prevents the fall if we but trust Him to do so. Yes, He wipes away our tears, but there is coming a day when there will be NO MORE TEARS, and I want to be with Him, I want to rest in His loving arms. I am grateful He has called me to be His child. If you are reading, and not His child, I invite you to be His today. Blessings to all, amen and amen.

  • Ever since I was really young I have loved this song I still do it's a really nice song.

  • Reminds me of when I saw her in concert my junior year in high school with my best friend and my mom...

  • 20 years ago I spent a Highschool year in Michigan as an Exchange Student. Fortunately I found nice christian people who cared for me. Together with their teenage daughters and other students from their church we peformed "The Warrior is a Child" togehter with other songs (I still have to found out it they were also from Twila) in a sermon. I just listened to that old tape and decided to have a look on the internet to find out more after all these years.... and here I am with your video. Thanks!

  • After giving birth to a stillborn child 7 years ago, I finally decided to have another baby. Now I am sitting in the hospital 25 weeks pregnant with my baby's life hanging in limbo. The drs are positive, and I try to keep a cheerful attitude, but sometimes I just feel so emotionally beat down. This song says exactly how I feel right now. It means so much to me!

  • @JessyMClark - May this sacred littlelife learn how to become a warrior child after his or her mother's example. Our father knows your worries and fears. I trust He'll keep you and the baby safe; allowing you the opportunity to hug and hold the precious little life He has graciously granted you to care for Him.

  • @JessyMClark praying for you and your child.

  • I love this song more than mere words have the power to express. Often when I was down this song lifted my heart out of the pit. Thank you for posting it

  • I was reminded of this song today...glad I found it. Very revelant for those of us in the battle today.Very true..the battle belongs to the LORD!(another classic song!)

  • As a mom and wife, sometimes I feel the need to be the strong one when others are weak.....oftentimes I push and push, trying to do and be everything I think I need to be....I may look strong and relentless on the outside, but on the inside........The warrior is a child!

  • The is the absolute best Twila Paris song, in my opinion.

  • Twila Paris is a genius. This is a great song.

  • Best song ever..thank u

  • nakakaiyak talaga. :( as in. bagay to sa best friend ko. bcos people who really don't know her much always see her strong and she will never give up... tpus last time.. nalaman ko.. namatay na pala mama nya dahil sa cancer. *sigh* walang ibang nakaka-alam... tpus everynight.. sinasabi nya sa akin.. "i know im strong.. but deep inside... i only find courage from my mom" [kasi... iniwan cla ng dad nya] kaya yun nga.. tinatago nya nalang yung pagiging weak nya kasi ayaw nyang masaktan ung mama nya.

  • This was one of my favorite songs as a child. It brings me to tears every time I hear it. God bless!

  • GOD is SOOO Awsome!!!

  • I can really relate to this song. God has seen me through a lot of lifes up and downs. I'm still here and God is still on the throne.

  • I sang this for my church a few years ago.... I love this song... It really is all about me and my life in foster care

  • Awesome Song!!!!!!

  • this was my theme song for almost 2 decades

    God is Awesome!

    Isaiah 12:2

  • This song has been a constant companion for me at the time of troubles and comforted me. I felt the song was made for me as I went through so many trials and Jesus was with me all the time. Literally my friends had asked me how did you go through all these battles and did you not feel like quitting? But as he song says even I fall, but in front of Lord my Father and I am a child when I am with Him. One smile and conforting word from him gives me the courage and strength to go through.

  • smithtown tabernacle 1986 bring a can of food free concert long island was on fire in the holy ghost its coming again real soon! sensei don

  • I can say that the happiest time of my life is when I knew about Christ...though practically growing up in a Christian Family, I ve learned to love the Master and serve him..this song reminds me so much of the 80s when the fire of gospel is spreading in the country, and many have came to know Christ.....why? why? why they forgot Christ now? I cant help crying listening to this song ...

  • I often hear this song when I was young and I love it so much....I am 28 years old now and this song reminds me of the earliest time when there was a revival in the Philippines...and it reminds me of the people I looked up growing up and now looking at the lives they lead, bring tears to my eyes...apparently they forgot about a savior whom this song was sang for...I always think that I will love God forever and ever and it puzzles me why they turn away from the God they have known....

  • Without a seed a plant will not grow and there will be no leaves.

  • Everything belongs to God, if we are good at something, if we have talents, it is just a side of us, without God guidance we are fragile, not matter how wonderful in so many ways we feel :)

    The warrior is a child...

  • The sad thing about this song is that I can't listen to it without my eyes leaking.

  • Thank you for posting this! It was always a blessing to me! I related so much to the message...the circumstances in my life caused me deep anguish, but I would cling to God, & He was faithful to me... His strength was always made perfect in my weakness. Whenever I would break down & cry from hurt & rejection, He would give me His peace & strength to get back up & continue to be a 'warrior;' living for Him & fighting the spiritual battles to prove my faith in Him was genuine. 1 Peter 1:3-7

  • There was a Slower version of this song made.

  • THIS is my fav Twila Paris song ever.

  • I love this song very much! I've been singing Gary V.'s version since I was 12 and now I'm 16.

BTW, Gary V. is a Filipino singer.

  • I remember listening to my parents singing this when I was a small child.

  • i like this song..its very emotional

  • I have the accompaniment to this version - and it's one of my favorites. Sadly I don't sing much anymore but I still love how this song can really lift my spirits.

  • I just got a copy of this last last year. But the piece as a choral piece has just been studied by my choir. I am blessed by the meanings within that makes this song so real/

  • the original is still the best------ opo ito po yung original

  • I'M A WARRIOR AND A CHILD OF GOD.

  • I remember the summer this came out. I was 20, a baby Christian, and had more zeal than common sense. Many battles have come and gone in the intervening 25 years. The armor remains whole but battered, the sword remains as sharp as ever, and the child-warrior within still runs home when buffeted by the enemy. The body bears the wear of many years and conflicts, but the childlike spirit remains. Thank you, Twila, for this timeless song, and thanks be to God, who lifts us up when we fall down.

  • ito ba ung original?

  • this song brought me thru some of the darkest years of my life....Praise God...

    Twila is gifted beyond compare~

  • I know what you mean.

Benny Hesters song (Nobody Knows Me Like you Do) got me throught the darkest time in my life as well.

Thoughts of suicide and overwhelming fear. Praise God for His mercy.

  • This song takes be back; very inspirational. Thanks so much for sharing:-)

  • Great song. I like the original version the best.

    Great memories flood back when

    I hear this song.

  • This is my favorite Twila Paris song of all time.

  • talk about the fairness doctrine. If they dare remove this music for all the other filth on the airwaves, say goodbye to the world. Twila >> Junk radio

  • I have loved Twila for twenty years and i don't see her inspiration's end nowhere in sight. God has shook kingdoms in the spirit through her music. Only time and then will tell the whole story. God's richest blessings be upon Twila and family. Robert.

  • What a powerful song. It is so true. I have lent on God so much lately. He helps me with my struggles and picks me up when I can't do it for myself. Without God, we seem to have nothing.

  • Matthew 18:4 (Amplified Version)

Whoever will humble himself therefore and become like this little child [trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving] is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

  • @EndTimeTrumpet thank u 4 what u said...itz truly inspiring

  • This is the whole message of this song:

    Matthew 18:1-3 (Amplified Version)

AT THAT time the disciples came up and asked Jesus, Who then is [really] the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

And He called a little child to Himself and put him in the midst of them,

And said, Truly I say to you, unless you repent (change, turn about) and become like little children [trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving], you can never enter the kingdom of heaven [at all].

  • Very inspiring song!!!

The lyrics is simple but with a BIG IMPACT becuz of the message of the song!!!

    I luv it!!!

  • one must ponder on what the song meant 'coz it can give strength to the spirit & the heart!
