  • I used to do this in a one man show, great fun

  • I watched this show in French in the 70s and they reran the series in the 1990s. There used to be a French version of this song at the end of the show. When they reran the show, it was instrumental, except for one episode where we heard the French theme! I think I cried a little when I heard it again for the first time in 20+ years!

  • My favorite tv show of the early 60s

  • And of course Don Spencer is now better known as Russell Crowe's Father In Law :-), as well as hosting Play School in both the UK and Australia where he later settled.

  • Don Spencer is Australian born and bred.

  • Actually you are correct but I think Don was better known in the UK in the early 60's than in Australia and he only became more well knon in the late 60;s, plus he hosted a Tonight Show here in Perth on STW9 in 1968/9.

  • This was the second record I bought at the age of 8. I remember my mom taking me into the record shop to purchase it - oh, how time fly's

  • Watched it on Saturday afternoons as a littl'un. Now I look like Zoonie.
