Hi again beena. I like to do business with you. Where do you live? I want to know the name of the store and where in Palestine? Many thanks and hope to hear from you.
Hi beenabop. I am originally from Egypt I had learned the cross stitching from the nuns in school. I just want to know where in Egypt do you buy your dmc floss? Hope to hear from you.
@monaaa200 hello Mona I'm not sure where to buy thread in Egypt, I got mine from Palestine =). They sell these DMC threads in fabric/sewing shops I assume they would have the same type of fabric stores in Egypt as well =) hope you are able to find them :)
I love your work, Im from Romania and I love alot of geometric art Romania and the ME have that in common our work is mostly done in Red Black and White I will share a pattern I have that you might like that I made its very similar w/ the black pillow your working on if you like. Great JOB !!!
@RromaBoi thank you so much =) thats really cool that Romanian needlework is similar to middle eastern needlework i never knew that hehe. Yes i'd love to see your needle work =) thank you
wow! i discovered your channel and im so impressed! You like the exact same things I do, only that you have better nails, so you can actually do designs on them. Mine are always short grrr! lol Also, I thought I was the only person that could sew by hand great but suck at the machine sewing! Glad Im not alone! :)) Hope to see more videos from you. I wish you the best of luck oxox
I love your work. I used to do crosstitching... but i have a question.. How do you follow the pattern when you dn't have the pattern outlined on the fabric?
basically u find the centre of the fabric and put ur needle in the hole then find the centre of the patern and do that stitch on the facric, then u count the stitches and replicate that on the fabric, also i use a highlighter pen to mark off whati have done on the pattern so also if i make a mistake i can still c where i went wrong.
Aw thank you greka =) you're so sweet!! No i don't draw a pattern, i just follow a pattern by counting the stitches(the x's) and i usually start from the very middle of the fabric so its even on all sides =)
These are beautiful! I love the way you combine tradition with so modern fresh colors in 4:20 design. I love yarns almost as much as nail polish bottles. Color therapy at its best :)
I can do that too!! But I do it differently... like with needles... my parents are both portugues... so it's like tradition... and I haven't done this in years!! :s so I wonder if I remember!
That is so awesome. I'm pretty decent with a sewing machine but I've never done any kitting or cross stitching. That's definitely something I'm interested in doing.
oh and one more thing...where did you find the black cross stitch fabric? ive been looking everywhere for them and i only find mostly white and creamy yellow.
thank you ^_^..well i got my black fabric from the middle east. I haven't seen it sold in the US,unfortunately, you can try online though maybe ebay might have some.
Sorry to interupt... I'm gonna let you finish... but Ebay has the best stuff of all time! :p u can find almost everything on ebay! The only thing I think you won't find on ebay is ur lost dog.
thanks for sharing. ive been into cross stitching alot lately...seriously ive been cross stitching everyday...you have some very beautiful artwork! ^_^
I like that you are sharing this. It is truly beautiful! Wow, it is so intricate. You must have SO much patience. I admire you. <3 WOW - the one at 6:59 ...amazing.
you must be a very patient person...! I bought a little cross stitch kit when I was a teen (and i mean it was a tiny little thing)...i did a few stitches and I was done hehe! amazing!! :)
Your work is gorgeous and so are the projects of your aunt and mom. It looks like palestinian dresses I saw in a book. I love the middle eastern cross stich patterns! And your color choice really add a personal touch. Thank you for sharing this.
This is fantastic
I wonder if any of you have a pattern to use all the boxes and boxes of left over floss that I have
Also I wonder if any of you have a patterns by Constanze Krohne
I love big projects
