can somebody explain to me what a push shot is?! because i have to write about it for P.E..ugh!! and im not korean so i dont understand it!!..and i also have to do a diagram of a push shot!!...help me pleaseee!!

simple. all you have to do to execute a normal push is holding up your racket, approximately half of the frame above the net, make sure the facing of the racket is horizontally straight and not upwards. then use your wrist to push the shuttle straight, leaving minimal space between the shuttle and the net, with your forearm's motion(forward).

it's like a forward thrust, like a soft punch for example, only that in this case it's the racket that's pushing the shuttle forward. get it? =)

hmm.. only the racket facing straight applies in drives. but when you're at the point of almost hitting the shuttle, tilt your racket face upwards just by a little tiny bit, like 10 degrees or something. cause the more you tilt, when the shuttle travels further, it'll eventually go up higher bit by bit, depending on the angle you tilted your racket at first.

it's pretty much linked to kinematics and such. haha. but make sure you can 'feel' the shuttle going just above the net during a drive. =)
