I had never heard of him until watching this video, but he is awesome. Wonderful vocalist and very, very talented on acoustic guitar. Plays with no pick and gets all kinds of tones and timbres. The scat sung solo was brilliant. Being an acoustic player myself, this was a real demonstration video for me. I'm blown away by this guy.

Martin Sexton is right up there with Cash, Nelson and Kristofferson in my life and the one of the most amazing artist of all time, Live Wide Open is so dam strong, my heart rate always takes off when listening. I love my artist from Edith to Cash, but Sexton hits home like Cash does for me, so dam right on.

Keep singing please, I saw you many times and just to name a few, Telluride was beautiful with you singing in the mountains, and Chicago was simply amazing.
