Anytime I want to motivate myself to be a better artist I watch this. It'll be a long time before we see anyone who can do for comics what Eisner did.
true but if it weren't for Will Eisner then there would be no Spider-Man or Hulk or any other Stan Lee creation because if it weren't for him then that agony the characters feel would be nonexistant. it would be like the Slam Bradley, original Superman kind of stuff
anyone know what the music starting at 3:00 is from?

I saw the documentary
"Will Eisner Portrait Of A Sequential Artist"
when it was screened at last years
New York Comic-Con, It was a far better film than that trailer for Frank Miller's 'Sin-Spirit' movie that they also showed at that same convention.
R.I.P. Mr Eisner

I'm curious to see if "The spirit" is blind in the movie? Or does the movie take place before the battle with "The Octopuss"?
Octopuss's mom is The Octopuss (1 of his secret identities).. Beware !!!!
LOL...

Will Eisner is the Underdog when compared to Big names like Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.
Yes Will's stuff is the best in terms of story and art

I love his little joke at the end: "How do you spell Eisner?" That's the kind of genial guy Will was. So pleased to have met him in 2003.

Thank you for that. I am working on a graphic novel (non-superhero naturally) and it is nice to see where the origions come from.

No finer pioneer of the medium. Thanks, whoever's responsible, for putting this doc together. You chose a great subject.
Anxious to pic this up.
