  • I laid my guitar down 28 years ago and pursued other interests, picked it up again last year determined to learn how to play it. I discovered your channel and I would like to thank you for the videos you have posted. I have been able to learn so much from them as you and I have some of the same musical tastes. Thanks again and keep them coming !

  • Lovin your stuff!! Cheers :)

  • bowie songs are really cool and you did a great job !

this is one of my favs beneath the great Led Zeppelin , 60s and 70s music NEVER DIES !!!!

so much people play them on you tube thats GREAT !!!

  • thanks for playing this i learned the entire song today and i love your work so thank you

  • dude please make some of bowie's lessons

  • Love this!!!

  • this is brilliant

best guitar cover of this song in youtube

  • Nice playing sir! Go Wolverines!

  • Nice playing dude!!!! picked up my guitar again after years of frustration with tab. Love u-tube vids. I can actually play this song but still picked up a couple of new bits from you. Bowie is God to me,grew up in this era & seen him a few times. Also, saw the late great Ronno too as a solo & with Ian Hunter. Will check out your other Bowie covers Ta a lot!! Steve.

  • A request: Could you play "Quicksand" from Hunky Dory?

  • Awesome!!!!

  • Mick Ronson -- vastly underrated.

  • @privettricker

    Sad but true

I try telling my nephew about Ronson since he wants to be a guitar player, and he ignores me and goes straight for Alexi Laiho and Zakk Wlyde to begin his guitar learning. Totally ignoring the value of chords.

If Mick Ronson taught us something, it was how perfect Rock and Roll sounds with chords, and that classical vibe!

  • @LivinWorstNightmare god isn't that true zakk and alexi are both good but they have nothing on mick or jimmy so just keep trying and try to show him vids of jimmy and david bowie he will come around

  • @spacewithace1997

Not worth it, he will learn in time, just as I did. Heavy Metal is OK but once you grow up you see chords and the Blues styles of guitar playing is far more important, and worth while than just playing shit super fast

  • @privettricker Yes he was.

  • thanks for doing that demo man! sounded great and right on the money!!!!!!
