Well... Try race a HGP Golf R32! From 405 hk to 620 hk! I don't have to say anymore... My R32 i tuned with anoter camshaft's and exhaust (sounds more evil than a Volvo if we now talking Volvo) and it has about 295 horsepower. A BIG improvment!

we had a volvo v40, completley stock naturally aspirated 2.0L. if the lights were orange, u knew u could catch it, and it had 300 000 kilometers on it, my bro hit a bump to fast oil came out and kept driving for 20 mins, sad day for volvo, now dead but i shall restore and bring the poor car back to life

no way as stock...1st reason;r32 is 15hp more and 2nd reason;r32 has dsg gearbox which has the quickest shifting.

And you dont think those 15hp (and more) dissapears with the 10-15% more losses in the 4wd transmission comparing to 2wd transmission?

The weightdifference is almost 350kg, and that is a other factor that talks against the VW winning a race with flying start...

I think the only thing the VW can win against a lighter car with 2wd is 0-60kmH...

you're right, listen to the v40 and peep the exhaust. i bet he upgraded to at least a 14t, maybe even a 16t. no stock at all, the r32 should stomp all over a stock v40.
