@lin545 hey. I was running Halo on my Mac and the other OSes were accessed through a citrix remote desktop client. I think I had 2 or 3 windows boxes running in VMware on my pc. I recorded it with an external tape deck so I wasn't running fraps or anything which probably helped performance.

The *nix systems are remote connections to the servers, via SSH and/or various Remote Desktop applications.

Or...maybe Virtual Machines, but since we see the physical racks in the video that's not likely.

@Comradecoool I think a real Admin would be using remote connections to the physical servers....in the video, however, those might be Virtual Machines for budget reasons :)

It looks like OSX is the base, but you can do that just as easily with Windows or Linux, and with any hardware.

The simplest way to do what *you* want would be Virtual Machines, just remember that they would have a certain performance hit on the main system, but it's quite easy to set up with VMWare, Virtualbox, or whatever.
