The story overall is made up, but the connection that it has, and I, personally, think that the success of the band is due to the fact that they make it work with reality. There are plenty of songs by Coheed that I'll listen to and think of my son, or a lost love, etc. I understand what you mean.

ONE good thing came out of playing rockband. i played welcome home. and it made me want to play music. i bought a drum set. and now i play coheed all the time. they influence me so much. i even started a twitter, just so i can talk to claudio. its amazing to be able to talk to a celeb like him, cuz he is like a normal person. he told me he just finished mixin there newest cd. and that he feels sad that its done already. i'm so looking forward to it. by how he was talkin, its there best one yet.
