Unfortunately people forgot what conservatism means. It means not only cutting taxes, but also cutting spending. In recent years Republicans in Congress thought they could cut taxes and increase government spending. If this is conservatism, then even LBJ was a conservative! I believe John McCain made huge mistakes, like McCain-Feingold, but he is really against wasteful spending and for fighting the war against islamists, and because of that I really admire him.

McCain's heart is in the right place, but he doesn't have the right judgement (Palin is a political "Hail Mary" even though she's a hot little vixen), doesn't have a clue about economics, was a bad student, a bad pilot (lost 1/2dozen planes)...He voted 100% with Bush in '08 and 95% before that...Don't you think Obama will fight terrorists?
