  • What song is this played to?

  • dude what clay do u use??

    i need some!!

  • most of what I used for this animation was Sculpey III

It comes in a bunch of colors and is smooth, but can be baked in the oven if you want it to harden.

  • What do you use for your animations???

  • A free program called Monkeyjam to animate, a Sony Mini-DV camcorder with a firewire cable hooked to my computa, and Windows Movie Maker to edit.

  • in fuckin sane

  • thats well gd!!! :)

  • great job!

  • Yeah you found me! Haha, thanks for enjoying my work

  • Incredible! Check out mine!

  • sorry but one more little question, what was that white clay you used for the candle?

  • Hey what was that green clay that you opened the wrapper on?

  • That was a little block of Sculpey III clay.

  • oh is that what it is? It seems the only way I keep my sculpeyIII shiny like that is to roll it on a smooth surface. Ohhh yeah maybe that's because I'm using premo not sculpey. Anyway how much was that block? And sorry for all the questions I've been asking, I just have been thinking lately that this is the kinda animation I've been wanting to do.

  • why did you say speacial thanks: freemont at the end? What did they do?

  • It was originally planned to me a collaberation with my friend 'freemont'. But he wasn't able to finish so I ended up just making more parts for it and making it all my work.

  • okay.... Lol I thought there was a movie company called freemont... I thought you were talking about them.

  • teach me man. Just teach me.

  • 1:32-1:34 was so feaking cool that was so good I favorited it and 5/5 stars also subscribed Ur so good.

  • Whoh man that was great!

That grey ghoul creature was freaky!

  • At the bigining, how many frames did you take 2 form each letter?

  • about 2 per letter. This animation was all shot at 15 fps.

  • that calculator part blew my mind!

  • Just Amazing. Great Video, such smooth animation. 5 Stars No doubt.

  • The gray monster and the octopus were cool! So was the calculator thing where they "drew" on the screen. 5 stars!

  • you did that gray moster thingy backwards, didn't you? anyway, everything is so clear and the light doesn't change at all; what kind of camera do you use?

  • Hey I have 2 questions: 1. what clay do you use? 2. Would you mind making a video for all of us animatiors to see how much you move things each time?

  • Impressive!! What kind of clay did you use???

I'd love to make something like that...

anyways, check out my own stop motion: How to make a clay martini

    cheers!!! ;D

  • wow how has this not been featured yet?!!!!

  • How many FPS do you use, and how long have you been animating. This just amazes me. Have you considered making a movie to be put in theaters? If you made a long movment claymation, I'm sure people would want to come see it.

  • Thanks! This animation was all between 15 and 20 fps. Yeah I don't think I'll be making any movies for theaters any time soon, but maybe in 20 years, haha. We'll see.

  • Hey, if you just make a movie long enough with just cool morph thingys and stuff like that, you could even turn that into a TV show. It is proven that little kids like lots of moving bright colors, so you could have your own TV show!

  • Hey Dan,

Nest time you are working on an animation, is it possible for you to post a video on youtube showing us fans how you animate. The pre-production, production, and post-production. Please, this will help alot to everybody out there, and people do want to see that kind of video.
