1:12 onwards on the short collapse diving drills the goalkeeper is in fact diving backwards although he may have been intending to dive forwards. Try not to have your leading foot collapse in front of you as you may notice yourself ending up with your body leaning backwards after landing. Try diving with bodyweight forwards and front foot planted firmly without collapsing under the body. Won't take anything away from your technique getting up but I think that may be the reason. See if it helps!
truth is, that you are noticing a different style of collapse... this is the former trinidad and tobago international u-20 keeper and if you noticed for the situations that included this keeper needing to extend everything follows the "orthadox" technique... what you dont know is the technique he uses is meant to protect his hurt shoulder
@jakamo00 Ahhh i see now it clears up alot of things. I thought that it could have been because he was coached to minimize the use of his hands to recover thus he rotates his legs underneath himself when recovering. Although some people see this as unnecessary, he does it very well and has a good and unique shape.
