There should be no suprise to her extreme talent that she could be studying with a master, or well known teacher. But in any case, she DOES put the effort into what she does, and from doing all these fundraisers, she seems to enjoy it, which is really what a musician should do, enjoy the instrument s/he plays.

I think this piece sounds so much better with the orchestral accompaniment. But it's helpful to me to watch this because I'm trying to play through all 3 movements of this Bruch concerto, so I'm glad to see someone playing through it so accurately as Valerie did.

Actually, only the 1st movement is in G minor. This 2nd movement is in C minor with 3 flats in its key signature. The 3rd movement is in G major with only 1 sharp.

Perhaps the most famous single movt. ever composed for Violin & Orch! Again, I've never heard this done as Violin/Piano before.

With Romantic music the idea was to make the music beautiful to listen to! Then Wagner, Mahler et al came along, not to mention Schoenberg! After that - woah! Things went kind of off-centre!! The Art of Composition is currently in disrepute. I wonder why? Bad untalentless Composers (some with Knighthoods). I am singlehandedly trying to bring credibility back to music
