Name a car that bangle designed which failed. Then you can say he sucks. Until he ACUTALLY creates a failure. Then he would be fired. But from the looks of things. He hasnt failed bmw yet. Right now I see WAY more new bmws than new lexuses toyotas or audis.

Just admit it the cars look great. If you had a choice between a new bmw or and old one would u choose the old or new? based on looks alone not tech. I would choose the new one.

I don't see all of Bangle's projects as successes, but at the very least, he is progressing design. Most of those trashing Bangle have no aesthetic concepts of their own. I suppose it's their plebian nature. They'd probably balk at a Citroen Megane and think trash of Lancias as they equate convention with excellence. Not that the two can't be mutually exclusive or inclusive, naturally.

You may not like him or the designs, but they are influencing design as a whole for the industry. BMW is at the leading edge of design and you may not like it, but Mercedes, Lexus/Toyota, and others are copying some of the elements into thier own desings. You dont have to like Bangle, but hes really created a new trend in automotive design. I for one like him, but IMO the 3/5/7 could have been a little more conservatively designed.
