Walmart creates millions of jobs to citizens that would otherwise be on the government dole. Which of course is where the leftist loves the poor, on the government dole (food stamps etc...) That is what it looks like to have a win for the left. Poor people poorer. Oh and then to make matters even better for the leftists, let's find a way to close down Walmart completely so that the poor cannot by food and goods cheaply. Way to go Maher. @SuperGuitarman69 I did go to school, and I later joined the army. I'm on S.S.I and S.S.D. now because when I was in I got hurt. Now they tell me I'm to hurt to work, but most of this money comes from me and how much I paid into this system. I miss work and hate not being able to go to work so everyday I fight to get off this. The point i made was about people getting paid a fair amount, but you wated to make yourself look like an ass.

Yet Costco, Jewel-Osco, Target, Kroger, etc etc etc all pay their employees much better wages than Wal-Mart.

Wal-Mart has record breaking profits year after year, yet the average employee's wages can not pay for all things necessary in life, if everything was bought in Wal-Mart. In other words, employees cannot even afford all their needs at the store they work at.

And yes, I agree with you: anyone, regardless of income, can be ignorant to the drudgery that is Wal-Mart.

People are forced to work there because Wal-Mart makes other places go out of business causing economic downfall of the cities that they are built in therefore causing a lot of broke people not having much of a choice but to go there to take advantage of the always low prices. They hire only part timers for the most part because it's less money. When you pay for items, the money goes to the CEO and not to people working there and that keeps more people still poor. Are low prices worth it?

1.walmart does not provide quality goods and 2. it comes at a great price, small communities are ruined by these giant stores that sell EVERYTHING

I'm not even sure the 'great' price' bit is all that accurate. I don't shop at Wal Mart myself, but I know many people who can get just as much stuff for the same price, or less at other places that don't have an aura that makes your IQ drop 25 points.

@kushtravels23 Don't forget they shit on the employees too. I worked there and got fired because someone else did my job wrong AND THEY ADMITTED TO IT while I was getting fired. Not after, but before I got fired. I was not a manager, or supervisor, or anything but the "grunt" worker. They are screwing people over a lot, other people that worked there said they made more an hour in the fucking 80's than they do now.

Actually, that's true---and I don't know why everyone is giving this person thumbs down. It's a catch-22----they DO have good prices for people who just can't afford more. Otherwise, they wouldn't be such a successful place. The bad part is their tactics are unforgivable. They treat their employees like trash. People really should watch that documentary about them. It's very eye-opening.
