One big change though.....these days I live each day like it was my last. I remember seeing this video before I turned 30 last year. I'm slowly hitting 31, and it took me a year to "accept" that I have hit the 30's..it was pretty tough to say the least. I hated turning 30.
30 was kind of a non-birthday to me. I wanted to forget it, but my parents and my sister were oh, so kind enough to call and remind me. At least my girlfriend at the time forgot until the next day.
Anyway, yeah, in two years or so (like, THIS year, OMG) you'll start to forget things, and sometimes that's a good thing...

Wrong. Not one single atom in your body today was there when that event occurred. Matter flows from place to place and momentarily comes together to be you. Live life! Live it every minute. You have to plan for the future but my advice is to keep that to a minimum. Plans are overrated. And dwelling on the past is unproductive too. So what's left? Right! It makes me sad to see people make big decisions because they reach a certain age and think "that's what I'm supposed to do". Those people become drones as they age. They marry people they won't like in 5 years, take jobs that don't stimulate them. Don't be like that! Keep being K80 all your life.

the thing is, that you can make any decision you want to make.. you don't have to worry (as much) about how it's going to effect your future because you have a basic idea of where you are in life.. take your time deciding where you'll go next

Live life! Live it every minute. You have to plan for the future but my advice is to keep that to a minimum. Plans are overrated. And dwelling on the past is unproductive too. So what's left? Right! It makes me sad to see people make big decisions because they reach a certain age and think "that's what I'm supposed to do". Those people become drones as they age. They marry people they won't like in 5 years, take jobs that don't stimulate them. Don't be like that! Keep being K80 all your life.

Katie (Graham, is it?), I've taken your advice and decided to embrace my 30ism. It's been a tough pill to swallow but I think I'm starting to feel at home in my old age (lol).
I love watching this video. It really does cheer me up and make me smile through all these changes. For real, turning 30 is strange, but it is what we make of it.
In all honesty, I feel better now than I ever have in my younger years!
