Sorry but I think the tie is justified. Onodi had a better landings, but her full twisting Yurchenko was piked as hell. Milosovici also had more amplitude, albeit having inferior form.

And you really couldn't see Milosovici's leg separations from where the judges were sitting.

Onodi should have been champion. She had better landings, and looked cleaner overall. Milosovici had landing problems with both. It looked like she put her hands up extra fast to hide the steps she would need to take.

They both did a Yurchenko full. Ónodi's first vault was the same as Milo's second vault, but Heni did hers in piked posititon. Piked vaults are more difficult than tucked vaults.

henrietta's first vault should have been 9.95. It's more difficult than lavinia's tucked vault.

I agree. Henrietta should have been Olympic Champion outright on vault not a share of the gold with Lavinia. Imo Lavinia was helped by being from a power country-Romania.

They reward medals to Romanians too much, I know a couple of other medals that they didn't deserve :(

Such a shame Heni couldn't be more of a factor in the AA. Had she done a better job in the rotation where she scored only 9.712 (it was probably the beam if I remember right), she would have been extremely close to the top 3. But the eighth place was a great result nonetheless.

I was recovering from tonsillectomy in the hospital on the day she clinched the gold in VT. Sometimes people may think back on the day of a surgery and realize how pleasant it was. :D Thanks for all this, Heni... :*

The tie was robbery. Onodi should have gotten atleast a 9.95 on both vaults. Both vaults were a perfect 10 with a stuck landing, the 1st was definitely a 9.95 with the hop. The 2nd was such a small shuffle that under scoring then probably still should have gotten some 10s for an average over 9.95.

Milo's scores were about right I guess and she deserved silver. Her form is fugly compared to Onodi's beautiful perfect form on vault though.

Onodi definetly should have won outright. Onodi's second vault would have won a 9.950 from me...

Milo WAS great-and Onodi was even better. She should have won both vault and fx outright imo.
