Last year in my Handbell Class, we played this but it was mostly just for fun. And yes if you are in the bass with malleting and ringing, it gets confusing and hard. But you guys did a really good job on it.
I would have loved to play that song. I was at a handbell clinic and I was excited when I heard that Kevin McChesney was going to be our clinician. I was also happy to get to play some of his music. He's a sweet person and really fun to work with.
Hey, great job you guys. We started playing that song this year, but our director didn't really like it so we never got to perform it. I played bass, & I agree with the other bass player... it is a tricky piece. But it's so much fun!
yeah, this is hard, the bass is in two and the treble is in three, our choir just finished doing it and now it's fun to play. i play the highest bells and we're doing four-in-hand. i think that u guys did really well
i play in a British team and we have just started to play this piece! It is so much ahrder to play than they make it look as the bass and treble are doing completely different things for most of it! as a bass player myself i find it challenging! well done you played it well and made it look really good! well dome!
I never played handbells but I'd like to try it :(
