i played that level hundreds of times as a kid but never knew the raptors were killed by the falling bones. i would just spend all my ammo trying to kill the raptors themselves then get wrecked. i also thought that i could kill the t-rex but then i was later all out of ammo. fun game tho

Too bad this game was kind of short, but I guess that happens when you have two ways to go about the game.

This ending was based on the original ending for the movie, but Spielberg changed it around.

I also think the Rex ending was disappointing compared to Rampage Edition. You'd think it would be a bigger thing since this guy followed you through half the levels.

I liked the game but I wondered back as a kid as I do as an adult how are u supposed to figure out how to beat the last level both as grant and as raptor. Other than the vague clues the game gives you which are very vague what are u supposed to fi to figure plot out especially back in the 90s there was no Internet. I guess it's supposed to be cryptic like a lot of the things in Simons quest for the nes it's a good game I still enjoy playing it

the intro says you'll need all the ammo you can get for the Raptors at the end but they are invincable to every thing you can carry. Like they can't since that there is live food right behind them throwing granades at fossels...Yeah that's smart.

Took me forever to find out how to kill the Raptors as a kid. I tried everything, and I found out how when I threw a fire grenade and the bones fell down. I did it again and I beat it! It was awesome, but I still don't know how to beat it as the Raptor...

i didn't know either until i saw a youtube video. you kick the boulders that hold the bones up. i don't have this game anymore so i never did it, but at least you can now.

@jonathand18 you have to use the scratch attack three times at the base of one or both of the fossils...hit the same spot that the granades hit to win for grant.

The way to kill the last two raptors were annoying. The spitting dinosaurs were also annoying. I found them more scary than the T-Rex. Sucks that Rex couldn't die.

Cool game, however. I still own the original sega game. My machine however broke on me.

Ah memories...I remember as a kid in the 90's I have gotten all the way to the end but never could beat it cause I didn't know that you suppose to kill the raptors w/ bones. @mitchman69 heres a trick hit the rex with a rocket to stun it, then get you electric attack and just tap the button repeatedly right in front of the rex...you'll never guess what will happen.

Thanks a bunch. I never knew what to do in the section with the bones. I was always pissed off, cuz they made those damn raptor invulnerable. I mean all the others went down with the rockets. I would unload my entire payload into them and I just chalked it up to a glitch in the game. I would get really pissed.

I always liked the theme to this level, but it took me weeks to figure out how in the hell to beat those raptors. I used pretty much every weapon I had on them, and I discovered how to beat them purely by accident when I missed with the fire grenades and hit those stones instead.

The ending in the game was actually the original ending of the first movie. If the movie had ended how it originally was planned to, you'd at least have had a hint as to how to do it.

The last dot on the map is not a Level or a Mission. The last dot on the map is the End Scene. You can see it at 5:12 in this Video.
