I loved watching him play in highschool. You also have to take into account the factthat the defence was keying on him every single play. So when you get 7-8 yards avg when the defence knows your getting the ball, thats gotta say something.

It's Alabama.. John Parker Wilson was just there to not turn the ball over,and he was a senior,unless McElroy has a break out offensive camp at QB he'll just be there to protect the offense from turnovers, unless Saban lets him loose,which I highly doubt, McElroy will be limited.

The reason this guy is so highly recruited is because he plays like a pro. He's fast as hell, though many of you don't think so because not every play he has is breakthrough. Also, he's operating out of a pro style offense, in the I formation, with no spread offense or gimmicky setup. Another good point is that he doesn't make stupid choices and run into holes plugged with defenders. You can get away with that at the high school level, but in college and the pros it gets shut down quick.

Can't compare to Bryce Brown nor David Oku. UT has the best two backs in the nation. To his credit, though, his offensive line is terrible. But I saw him give up on at least two plays in this game. Brown is much more electric looking, so is Oku.

The thing you have to remember when watching this video is to to watch the line of scrimmage and the blocking. TR is running behind poor blocking and turning nothing into something on almost every run. Put him behind a good line and he'll explode.

if a back runs fast and strong and falls forward i don't really know what else you are looking for. if you consistently pick up an extra 2 yards when being tackled it adds up pretty well in a full game
Damn I just saw Seastrunk and he's even more agile than Richardson and that's saying a lot. He's not as powerful though. Trent is more of a slasher who keeps his shoulders more square when making a cut and Seastrunk, starts,scats, redirects momentum, and jump-cuts his way through traffic, but runs away from guys a little better in the second level. I couldn't see any RB prospect being better than Seastrunk for '10 he's mesmerizing.

Videos doesn't always tell the story if anything Trent should have been higher ranked then Bryce between all the talent combined in Florida and Kansas by far FL is the better state and compition and more blue chip players even Alabama,Georgia,Virgina,Mississippii,Lousiana and ect. produce more talent then Kansas would ever have alone...

you think trent is a bust you must be crazy i watched him play 6 games if he had any kind of line he would hav ran for 3000 yards the reason hes falling is cuz hes brakin tacxkles. bryce and trent hav different running styles. when trent was a junior at like 205 he was 4.4 speed bnut he got on the weights and gained 25 pounds lost a little speed but won state in weight lifting.

Can't compare to Bryce Brown nor David Oku. UT has the best two backs in the nation. To his credit, though, his offensive line is terrible. But I saw him give up on at least two plays in this game. Brown is much more electric looking, so is Oku.

juicebox, I'm sure that's how the LSU sites spun the stories, but that's not reality. He said from the very beginning that he was still going to take his official visits, after committing to the tide and that's what he did. And, after each one, he said "I liked such and such school" but I'm still committed to the Tide. If you think that's not true, feel free to provide a link to a report of him stating otherwise.

The thing you have to remember when watching this video is to to watch the line of scrimmage and the blocking. TR is running behind poor blocking and turning nothing into something on almost every run. Put him behind a good line and he'll explode.

i go to school with trent at escambia and not only is he obviously the best football player but he is the fastest at our school and one of the strongest he is about 220 225 benches about 390 squats 400 plus not to mention with that frame he runs about a 4.3 4.4 forty time the man is a beast and im glad ive had the chance to go to school with him the only running back i have ever seen run for more than 400 yds more than once!!!ESCAMBIA ROYALE C/O 09!!!!!

Damn I just saw Seastrunk and he's even more agile than Richardson and that's saying a lot. He's not as powerful though. Trent is more of a slasher who keeps his shoulders more square when making a cut and Seastrunk, starts,scats, redirects momentum, and jump-cuts his way through traffic, but runs away from guys a little better in the second level. I couldn't see any RB prospect being better than Seastrunk for '10 he's mesmerizing.
