When I was growing up in Marine City, Michigan Lonnie had a daily show on our local radio station WDOG (that license was later bought out by an outfit in either Tennessee or Kentucky).

Lonnie was quite a ladies man and it cost him his life. A woman was carrying his picture in her wallet but didn't have one of her husband. He had suspicions and went to White Eagle Hall near Richmond, Michigan and killed Lonnie with a shotgun. He got a very light sentence.
