If the spamers keep spam, then we would pay to pay for online-.-
I got a message from one named Kevin Butler or what ever, he said he would stop this! But I dont wanna pay for online so to all u spamers out there PLEASE STOP!!
Lol I have the cheap move method used on me even in Ranked matches, Alisa one move spammers, Hworang one combo spam the whole time. And bunches of others, they are people with a lack of skill, they don't learn but the simplist of combos that can defeat their opponent and it is cheap and an unfulfilling match in a way that you got beat by cheap dumb tactics and it wasn't a good match at all.
@angeloblaze and thevermin23, i agree with you both, it is almost like the eddy characters, some may call them cheap yes, and that is true, BUT if you really were that bothered it takes literally 5 minutes and you can backfire it with ease.
That first round of the first match reminded me of this now-famous real life martial arts bout where...Bruce Lee (I think) just laid on the ground, turning to keep his feet facing the opponent. If the opponent got close, he started flailing his legs. It was such a successful technique that doing so was made illegal.
So what you're saying is that spamming the same move over and over ISN'T cheap? Because that seems to show more of a lack of skill I'd say because you can't win by not spamming.
And you can clearly see that I learnt how to counter that guy for the most part during that fight, which is the reason why he stopped using that move over and over.
Let me put it this way, it breaks down to this--- In all situations, you have many options to strike at your opponent with. There are some that will work, and some that will not. Regardless of skill or intelligence: You used the wrong ones. He used the right ones. Complaining about spamming moves is like complaining that you keep losing to someone in a game of 'Rock-Paper-Scissors" because all they choose is rock every time...
that's one of the reasons that i stopped playing fighting games...any idiot face rolling on a controller can kick your ass with luck or spamming the same attacks
I think you're a little overzealous about that... Part of playing a fighting game is to learn a few combos which work for the individual. Your opposition kept using low attacks and you weren't having a good time prying them up. I prefer Soulcalibur games because of the simplicity in hitting different ranges, but in competition if something works, harp on it. Cheap or not, you play to have fun and win.
You're right, fighting games are about learning a few combos, but the emphasis is on a "few." This guy was clearly just abusing one difficult to counter move. Had I not learnt to counter it through the fight he would have just kept on using it until he won. It was clear he didn't really have any other tricks up his sleeve. I just think that approach is cheap, and doesn't show much skill at all.
This "win at any cost" approach seems dickish in an unranked match where there's no reward for a win
Well think about the opposite extreme in "organized" Pokemon battles where people lob on several rediculous rules concerning things they consider cheap, but aren't really so bad. xD But since your recordings are on PBR, you'd think you would be used to the concept of ruthless strategies that are hard to counter. :P Not saying that it isn't annoying, but it isn't worth letting it get under your skin.
The point of using "other tricks up his sleeve" would be because you're able to counter his current move that works. It's like you got beat up in real life by getting punched in the face a few times, and you're there on the ground telling him, "why didn't you use any kicks or grabs". it's a moot point. if you were so unprepared as to get hit by the same move, then how would it help by him using a larger array of moves?
@wynzerman wrong part of playing a fighting game is to learn ALL the combos and moves so you can be rdy for any given situation there using the same move over and over again is cheap and unskillful (is that a word? lol) didn't wanna use noob there
It's not possible for a human being to know ALL of the combos off of the top of their head. In a fighting game you must learn muscle memory, but the main combos you attempt have to be more practiced than the others so that you know that you will not fail. Most fighting games have too many combos to memorize the entire set completely, so you work with what you can do best and try new things.
@wynzerman idk if u have seen some of the ppl wo live off fighting games or not but like tekken there are ppl who memorize the whole combo list and use them in matches (i think thats crazy :D) but yea i have seen pros or random ppl fight with the whole combo list.
Yeah, Alisa's great fun when you use her. She has a move where she hands her head to an opponent and then it explodes in their hands. It is pretty hilarious.
1. They've done a patch which means you can check the strength of the signal of your opponent before you fight them, so you should be able to avoid lag that way.
2. No, the moves I do aren't complicated, normally just a direction and either square and triangle or circle and x.
Who is that cutey in the short skirt u used in the 3rd battle... and u got a Sly Cooper icon... the same Sly Cooper as from the Sly Raccoon series :| nice i love Sly Cooper :D
Cheapass players deserve a good beating. They should be demolished by their own cheapness... a few times in a row so that they get the idea that they are annoying azzes
That Alisa vs. Lili match was amazing. I haven't seen many people use Alisa since she was first introduced, but you used her very well. That Lili costume was awesome.
I know what you mean. Most time i'm on eather player or ranked maches I run into cheap players.
Teamplayer881 1 year ago
Haha, and people say Soul Calibur sucks? Looks pretty damn even to me.
Noobs, cheaters, spammers, whatever the hell you call them are everywhere...
Sad, right?
Pity that their only lame excuse is: "It's just a game."
However, every character is cheap depending on the user.

If you keep getting hit by the same move over and over again, what exactly does that say about YOU? It's not cheap, you just don't know what to do.

The only reason why people "are cheap in unranked matches" is because they are simply practicing cheap/effective moves for ranked matches...

1. Whenever I go tekken 6 online, sometimes I get a really laggy match, is there a way around that?
2. You know the moves you use in these matches? Are they hard to do?
