how doesnt it make sense? BHP is measured from the fly and at the wheels. The engine will produce X BHP (measurable at the flywheel) but due to friction you loose power as it goes through the transmission and down to the wheels.
yeah bhp can be measured from the wheels but its not possible to have 325bhp(which is at the flywheel) and as well as the wheels at the same time which is what the video title states. thats why it doesnt make sense. if it makes 325bhp then its making about 290 ish to the wheels because minus the 20-30% drivetrain loss
I can't quite figure out what you've read. The title of the video is 'formula red sagaris on rolling road' and the description states '325 bhp at the wheels at tvr power open day'. There's no mention of flywheel figures anywhere.
A Sagaris makes about 400bhp at the fly, so 325bhp at the wheel is about right.
I'm not trying to start any sort of argument, because that would be pointless, I just have no idea why you're going on about flywheel figures.
TVR arn't out of business, at the moment its not called TVR anymore, its Blackpool cars or something, currently not alot is happening but im sure there will be a 09 model
They are working on making the car's better for world wide applications. so we may see one in the USA. not that anyone will be able to afford it anyway :(
about 330bhp but our sagaris is running a bit rich and as there is no backbox the noise is very loud and the performance is down a little.they get 400bhp from the flywheel with a free flowing exhaust.
@smithy050792 about how many TVR Sagarises are in there in the world cause I live in Vancouver Canada and I have never seen a TVR Sagaris ever in like any auto show or anywhere on the road.
325bhp at the wheels? that makes no sense

You can get a good Sagaris for 40k these days, 2nd hand, but there are no 1st hands anymore
40k is nothing for such a beast.
