@fgz137 it might be "regular" that fires blanks. But it might very well be a prop. Check IMFDB for more info. Anyway, the cameras are often not fast enough to capture the muzzle flash and sometimes they even have to add it post-production to make it more flashy and eye-appealing.

It can't due to how a gun works. If the barrel isn't form fitting so much as a .50 to a .44 or a .357 of all things the bullet won't have nearly as good of velocity, will tumble, and is likely to just send out smoke as the casing detonates...
