Of the people on there, Mort is the one I agree with most. The final resolution will likely be the 1967 border with land swaps but that should not the starting point to begin negotiations. The principal for peace has been land for peace. Not give land and then negotiation for peace. The final resolution will be something close to the Clinton Parameters but that is not the starting point. That offer has expired and should not be the starting point so Palestinians can demand more now.

continued - The main problems with this is that moderates like Fayyad who may want to negotiate for sincere peaceful resolution do not have the publc backing of the Palestinians. The Palestinians are split between support of Hamas and Fatah. A leader that would be able to support a two state solution is questionable.

On the other side, Bibi may not be the one who will bring forward a peace proposal (unlike in 1947,1978,2000, 2008) that would even satisfy a moderate Pal leader

The Israel area was a barren unused land prior to the Belfour Declaration. It is a well known fact that the Arabs encouraged their people to move there to occupy so that when the Jewish state went into effect, they would have established a population claim. Why are all those Arab refugees not being accepted back into Arab countries? Because it looks bad for Israel if they are looking like they have no where to go. "Cold Arabs" is the only reason those people have no home, not Israel. God knows!

The people that left did so of their own accord, & the land that was won in the 6 day war would never have been taken, had Israel not been attacked. The only thing holding back the Peace talks is the Palestinian/Hamasians unwillingness to say Israle has a RIGHT TO EXIST. WHY????

Read some of the international condemnations of Israels actions. The international community is not very keen on nations that thumb there nose at international law /Norms and ignore the hundreds of UN Resolutions that have been passed.
