SPQR PUNKROCKERS 60s - 70s (lysergic beyond all limits)
"we fought in the streets of life, we lost friends and Siamese twins, we have fallen, we have raised, we were a thousand times betrayed, defeated, wounded, humiliated, insulted, laughed .... but we never ever give up ... have turned their backs to the enemy ..
we have fallen, we have raised, we were defeated, wounded, humiliated, insulted, laughed ....
I love music like this but the idiots around me think it's shitty because it doesn't sound like Lil Wayne. Or whatever "artist" everyone is sucking off now.
@ashetonpop , I thought the same thing as you -- the riff in the middle is from the Yardbirds "Happening Ten Years Ago". But both songs are great and I'd say this song is sufficiently different to not really be a rip off.
@marcfedak As far as I know, Ron Asheton and, I think Dave Alexander were in London in the early 60s and saw the Yardbirds live. Perhaps this was some influence.

Just another masterpiece from the best Rock ´n Roll band ever. BUT: The Middle part is a 1:1 Ripoff of the Yardbirds´ "Happenings ten years ago"...
