  • *Waches Video*

    Tuba: "No."

  • beast

  • thats a convertable shoulder tuba... contras are G bugles

  • 14 people are blind

  • thats a contrabass fool!

  • @killjoy0987 That Is NOT a Contra. That is a convertible tuba, Contras are bugles "fool."

  • awww sheit

  • It's funny how I'm getting so many views on a 4 second video

  • @asap50cal short and sweet gets a lot of attention. No one likes patience, lol.

  • The quints just make this moment pure epicness.

  • chuck testa?

  • Do a Tuba Roll*

  • This is actually a Contrabass Bugle, the Drum and Bugle Corps' low brass instrument.

  • That's how a real nigga does it.

  • Yeah we just finished our first season with them.

  • man sousaphones will kill your shoulder for about a week. Then you get used to it.

  • 0:04 <-- The BEST part

  • Hey I can do that TOO

  • plastic.......

  • @shadow1100ful yeah its not a "tube"

  • that's not a tube

  • @Thunderbird0005 are you a tuba player?

  • My initial reaction: /.??~.

It went too fast to know what the heck was happening, but I watched it like 10 times and it was epic in it's own way.

  • that was so... unimpressive

  • its a mother fucking contra...

  • That's not a tuba, it's a contrabass bugle.

  • @TehFunnehMann its a convertible.

  • why am i here

  • @moloteuch444 exactly what i was asking

  • Jupiter is better.

  • @asap50cal

Jupiter is bottom line in the music word. Have fun with it.

  • the only cool thing you can do with a tuba

  • This video was uploaded from an Android phone.

  • I have a convertible just like that and I'm trying to learn the flip, but I can't figure out where I keep my right hand.

  • Thats a contra...

  • It just ended iup like that. Now we have sousaphones so when I find a way to spin it I will post it

  • It was flipped perfectly in time with the quints that were playing in the background. Or was that on purpose?

  • Yes it's a convertible tuba, but often times concert converted tubas are heavier and way less balanced than strictly marching contra bass bugles. In my opinion the thing that makes flipping a marching contra harder is the lack of the thumb ring and how the valves always seem to get in the way.

  • it's a convertible like the man says. besides the vertical pistons you can see when he brings it up, fullsize contras take insane muscle control to pop up and can't just be "flicked" up like he did with this noob tube.

qualifications - marched Boston 2011 and we had a flip similar to this but with full sized Jupiter Quantum 5080's. a solid 35-40lb

    cheers

  • @aldenrichie

Why usa a jupiter when you can use a kanstul?

  • ITS CALLED A SHOULDER CANNON NOOBS!

  • Yes but it is also a concert convertable.

  • Called a contra by most of the drum corps community. (:

  • Its a convertible tuba.

  • @asap50cal it's a Contra

  • What kind of tuba do you have

  • @asap50cal I'm fairly certain it's called a marching tuba, or a contrabass bugle. (Contra for short)

  • @asap50cal its called a contra. right?

  • woah how did you do that...i REALLY wanted to know how to do that with the tuba in our marching band

  • not tuba marching tuba

  • I took that video

  • haha wow steven u can see me in the background
