  • yous catch stuff all .bet the decky lives on the skids of his arse

  • its nice to see this i like it

  • where are you fishing? :)

  • @Rorre65 They're fishing in Maine. If you look at the guys name, that's his location and I looked it up and it said Maine.

  • Nice video guys one of the best I have seen on here, not too horny about trawls triples or quads are what i fish, i know the trawls are faster but the snarwls are dangerous,I have been lobstering for 29 yrs I guess it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks, once again great video.

  • more like small time lobstering...this is pathetic im sorry

  • nice vid, great music

  • @scurpenin I hate this music no offence.

  • its not good! sukkels

  • watching this makes me glad i have an open stern...nice vid though

  • that isnt very many lobsters

  • well it was february, our catch then is never very high.

  • @mountdesertrock so why name this video "Big time" lobstering?

  • here we set strings (trawls) of 15 pots and we are aloud to set anywhere from 375-400 pots

  • we get 800 pots and set trawls as well in 60-70 fathom bottom.. when fishing inshore (20 miles from shore at most) we usually run pairs.. our offshore bottom we fish either trawls, quads, or triples..

  • hahaha.... behind the bon jovi i can hear some Red Hot Chili Peppers on the radio

  • whats whit everyone fishin trawls?? are they that much better? seems like more to me. we like to set on really good bottom and with a trawl you might end up settin on shit .

  • saves time for one thing...off shore like that they are probably just running it a certian depth on the side of the shoals..they fish 6-8 pot strings inshore here in Northern NL and still place the gear where they want it,just watch the bottom and run the string along the bank ..must take all day and burn a lot of fuel to haul one trap at a time like you do ..300 traps and ashore by noon here most guys

  • ya we set in a line, of 15 to 30 traps, but never in a trawl, we set some doubles but thats about it, and were still in by noon to 1 everyday

  • where i come from maybe 1 or 2 people out of 30 fish trawls. they're the type who have 800 traps out anyways, so of course they're better off than most others, but you don't really catch anymore than fishing two or three lines, and plus, it's less work. just my two cents

  • You guys using heron?

  • herring or heroin hahaha they go hand in hand in this area it seems..

  • Thanks Micah!

  • @mountdesertrock Do you still go lobstering? This time of the year should be good. Lobster season is Summer and Spring, but mostly Summer.

  • nice work guys!!! Didnt look to bad for Feb. lobstering!
