  • Doh nevermind - just saw that this was Petit's version.

  • I thought Ashton choreographed Thais.

  • The Choreography looks like from Ben Stevenson. I think one of the most beautiful works ever so very well suited for this couple. I will watch this forever.

  • @renecito1 Actually, the choreography is by Roland Petit. There’s a clip on here of an earlier performance with the French dancers Dominique Khalfouni and Denys Ganio, recorded in the early nineties.

  • Absolutely magic! Music is from Massenet's Thais. It's Meditation. Whoever it is that asked.

  • can anyone tell me who this music is by?

  • Most beautiful dancer in history! Her portrayal of music, emotion transcends beyond each and every part of her body. Her long fingers controlled by her wrist, neck arches, waist bends like a flower, elbows, legs and even her toes shows out from her point-toe shoes. Beauty is more than technique; not only are her lines mesmerizing, her entire body flows making each move a picture performance. She can make any choreographer proud; most beautiful dancer I've ever seen. Gorgeous!

  • Lucia Lacarra and Cyril Pierre

So exquisitely beautiful. The quality and fluidity of their interpretation has me shedding tears of joy and appreciation of this beautifully choreographed Pas de Deux. The seemingly effortless ease with which Lucia is partnered stands testament to not just the strength of Cyril but also too his status as a true artiste. Lucia has that certain je ne sais quoi which melts the heart with each movement throughout.

Bravi brava bravo and thank you for posting this.
