Actually, the crowd is more representative of Britain as a whole and its diversity. The view that the BNP is illegitImate isn't far left - it is the position of MOST people, and it is the supporters of the BNP that are on the far right. They are on the fringe. Well that depends on the demographics of your area. If you live in a minority area or main city then of course not many people will agree with the BNP. Most people in the suburbs and particularily the countryside are for the most part represented through the views of the BNP more than any other party. I would disagree, thought it was a mixed crowd. It would have been good if they allowed a few BNP voting audience members to have a say to balance things out. Also it was wrong of them to focus most of the programme on Griffin. It should have been half on Griffin and half on current issues.
The way they carried out the programme disappointed me as it will come across that Griffin was bullied which will unfortunately encourage more BNP support.

Actually, the crowd is more representative of Britain as a whole and its diversity. The view that the BNP is illegitImate isn't far left - it is the position of MOST people, and it is the supporters of the BNP that are on the far right. They are on the fringe. Griffin is lucky he had any supporters in the crowd at all, and it isn't the BBCs responsibility to make sure he had more supporters in the audience.

Well that depends on the demographics of your area. If you live in a minority area or main city then of course not many people will agree with the BNP. Most people in the suburbs and particularily the countryside are for the most part represented through the views of the BNP more than any other party. Trust me, I have travelled up and down the country and the locals in almost every pub sound the same - and they echo almost everything that Griffin says.
