  • Just think, if you had the equipment to grow gemstones, you'd be friggin rich!!!

  • this is freaking beast!

  • this is awesome

  • Whatever i needed something else

  • lots of heat and pressure and a seed diamond chip, and i think talesonly a few months for a 2 crt diamond ,but there is another method for growing gem quality diamonds called the cvd,or chemical vapor deposition, which doesnt require the heat and pressure, and is fastr and produces better and bigger stones, this company in oston does it called appollo diamond, but they are paranoid and very secretive ,there afrain of spies from debeers stealing their proprietay secrets

  • she said they get offered big money by people ,or someone who wants a batch without the flourescent material added , so they must be many times cheaper for synhetic than real natural stones, enough to be able to pay extra and still make a huge profit, she says they never do that, but im not sure who regulates that or if its illegal or what, there are also companies that grow gem quality diamond ,like gemesis in florida, mainly they gro yellow diamonds, about 2 carrots ,their process requires

  • i did i have known that this was possible for many years , i remember watchin somehing about this and they said that they ave to put some special trace element in the synthtic stones like ruby and emerald ,so that they will flouresce under blacklight ,so that they can be told apart from real stones, and the lad they were inerviewing said that evey year they gat a call from someone asking them to make them a special batch without the element in it so they wont b able to tell their synthetic

  • judging from the video quality I'd have to say that they must've been doing this for around 20 years. Who knew.

  • What's stopping someone getting hold of this equipment and making large diamonds and selling them for emormous amounts of money, ummm, interesting

  • this video is creepy..(maybe because it's old?) but reminded me of a mash-up between apple first commercial and 2001-space odyssey

  • i wanna buy a ruby plz

  • One for the customer...One for meee...One for the customer... one for me

  • make me one lumarian seed crystal 24 inches long 5 inches wide please

  • I'll tell you this those women weren't ugly, but I think I have a good idea why they're working there....B.S. to the side, does anyone know if the cost is less or more expensive when selling the crystals/gems?

  • Cultured or Natural. These are common terms used in Gem circles.

  • is it real but just not natural or is it considered fake?

  • wow when was this movie created? looks really old

  • Comment removed

  • Wow, nice setup! if I had equipment and budget similar to that I could probably have grown a larger diamond than the one I made - its only the size of a bacteria (I also put a video up) but hey, I made it myself, at home, which isn't bad, all things considered.

  • the blonde isn't a scientist..... too hot for being one :P

  • The aquamarine was such a lovely color!

  • i thing this is fun to look to watch it to see how you can make crystales a gems

  • if dont have the apratis dont try it home kids

  • will you grow some crystals from my seed crystals i have tons and they are in a twin beta type state also so would make good seeds

  • @hatsoff456 Well... one is man-made and the other one is man-found and the price, off course :)

  • and this is how you get robbed at jewlery stores

  • nice motto

  • The narrator and music makes this seem straight out of the late fiftees LOL !!

  • can this crystals be used for healing?

  • @hatsoff456 No it´s not a philosophers stone. XD

  • @hatsoff456

Crystal Healing is just a myth and has no scientific evidance to support it.

The fact is that it is impossible to ever get any evidance to support crystal healing because the human body has so many of its own unknown healing mechanisms. To automatically attribute any odd healing occuraces to the work of a crystal is foolish just like it is foolish to attribute "miracles? automatically to the work of a God.

Every time we attribute something to a God, we usually disprove in the future

  • @WatchCharmedOnline you sound so ignorant!! Gob bless your soul!

  • @Clipedice1

    You're one to talk.

You sound so pretendorous yet you present no substance in your remark.

You especially shouldn't bring religion into a discussion about ignorance.

Ignorance is defined as refusing sound reasoning. Sound reasoning is a product of logic. Logic is derived from the observation and linking of evidence.

Therefore, you are what is called "ignorant".

  • @WatchCharmedOnline God Bless yous all for having such knowledge.

  • @hatsoff456 Yeap......just insert it into some orifice and you will feel the healing powers.

  • What music is that? It sounds good.

  • @raven1234 The music is Rachmaninoff, Rhapsody in the Theme of Paganini

  • nice, now i can even buy a cheaper one to have the same effect

  • And of course i would only sue if i payed a reasonable amount of money then i would sue

  • @ipodtester1 We do not misrepresent what we make and sell. If something like this happened to you, most probably it is the lack of knoweldge of the seller or seller's misrepresentation that led to it.

  • @ipodtester1 you or anyone else wouldnt know( if it was presented to you) with out a qualified jem expert looking under a microscope examining it. you couldnt tell the difference with a discerning eye.

In fact Technically your getting the same thing as is made in nature but much quicker and cheaper.

  • @ipodtester1 It wouldint realy be fraud inless if they said it was naturel

  • @ipodtester1 agreed

  • So basically what you're doing is artificially producing real gemstones?

Interesting. I wasn't aware this was possible.

  • @seigeengine well yes but not gona be really hard. its just a simple crystal u know.... u need a bigger machine for a harder crystal like man-made diamond =)

  • @seigeengine Not a bad analogy :)

  • how do you guys make emeralds?

  • Doesn't the autoclave method used for the emeralds leave a big string or something in the center of the gem?

  • The "string" is attached to the top of the seed; it doesn't go through the crystal. The seed is cut out of the crystal at the end of the cycle and there is no "string" inside the crystal.

  • So the crystals grow downwards instead of around the seed?

  • @gr8fzy1 Crystals grow around the seed.

  • Can you make tourmaline?

  • We have done some research and we can get the growth started, but we have never tried to produce Tourmaline in commercial quantities.

  • Well, I think all of your work is amazing. I have been looking at your videos since you posted the first one. I am fascinated by the process. Keep up the good work!!!

  • how do i make a 20 agility gemstone?...:P

  • Is that like Crimson Spinel in WoW? :)

  • Hello ! Do you produce hydrothermal alexandrites ? Do they have a real emerald green color by the light of day ?

  • We produce floating zone and pulled alexandrite. There is no hydrothermal alexandrite prodcution, but we are currently considering to make research into it.

  • @Tairus89 What it the difference between floating zone and pulled Alexandrite?

Which synthetic alexanderite is best for jewlery?

    Can I buy from you?!

  • @QuinceJ Both methods provide same result. You can send an inquiry thorugh our website.

  • wow i think this company need so much carbonate lol.i wonder if those worker dosent have some ashma

  • The use of carbon does not promote asthma. Carbon is in a stable form and in sealed container; it doesn't interract with any outside elements during our process.

  • do you use carbon in your diamonds? How hard is it for a synthetic diamond without carbon to be identified as a man made alternative?

  • they won't tell you >.>

  • Yes, we use carbon - without carbon it is not a diamond.

  • Hehe. Right on!

  • lol thats my gemstone yellow sapphire

  • one day they'll make real dimonds. Then we're all fucked. dont ask me why

  • why

  • they make real dimonds

  • They are very... vague on how they do things. Special solution? Special equipment? Special heating devices? What the hell?

  • lol '' SPECIAL''

  • ever seen a camera before? and figuring stuff out?

  • What a help this is. We want to know how to grow simple crystals like out of salt... borax. Not super mega ultra tech advanced equipment a machines.

  • all i wanted to know was how to grow a crystal now you people are talking about chemicals

  • Diamonds are made of carbon which at about 98miles below the earth is compressed enought to make the beautiful gem :)

  • Are you guys capable of creating your own Diamonds?

Is it is theoratically possible but just that i would require immense power and heat which is not available yet with current equipments?

  • Actually, there is a place somewhere (forgot where it is) that can grow diamonds, they are of course lower grade than the real deal, but still nice.

  • i think it was Chicago heard tht there was company that will make ashes(of dead people -for memory) to Crystal like or diamond like thing for money :P

  • Are you using electrical induction heating as your furnace? If so, how many watts does it require to maintain the correct temperature for weeks on end?

  • This is a very keen observation. Process requires a lot of energy, but still more eco-friendly than mining.

  • That's bogus..that green emerald is not emerald at all..it's Nickel Sulfate! You cant make emeralds with any liquid that is pourable.

  • Well the biggest giveaway that there is no beryl shown is the structure of the crystal itself. Beryls, including emerald, are hexagonal! I dont care how you grow them, they would always be hexagonal.

  • The green crystal that we use to cut seeds from is heliodor

  • us hardcore scientists are not idiots...the only way u can make emeralds is adding a certain amount of Beryllium to a molten mixture of Silicon Dioxide and high temperatures, plus another element and slow cooling.

Rubies require Chromium in that molten mixture.

There's nothing special about what you do.

  • My birthstone is a blue sapphire. My astrological birthstone is an opal but my favorite gemstone is a perfect diamond. However my second favorite would be burma ruby, third is either kashmir sapphire or colombian emerald. Followed by in no particular order natural white South sea pearls, imperial jade, alexandrite, bixbite, spodumene, many others.

I also like huge purple amethyst, aquamarine, blue topaz bcoz they have stunning colors but very affordable wether they are created or natural.

  • Gems are gorgeous. Do you have any of the created gems by Tairus? Their sapphires look exquisite--so do their emeralds. I'm tempted to order an emerald. I have a created sapphire and it's amazing. I also have an authentic tanzanite which is gorgeous too.

  • I have a great looking created sapphire but I don't know who created them. I do like created gems bcoz they look beautiful and high quality versus the naturals of the same price.

  • i like alexandrites but topaz is my birthstone

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WHY WHY CANT I GET A ALEaNDRITE AS A BIRTHSTONE!!?!?!?!?!!? WTF HERE PEOPLE

  • Know what you mean. My birthstone is a topaz. But there's no law that says I can't have any gemstone. I have a blue topaz and as the gold topaz is very rare, you can subatitute citrine. Go for the Alexandrite!!!!!

  • AAHHHHH THERE WERE NO TOPAZ'S

but otherwise . is was ok actually very good.

    but very long.

  • I tried going to Tairus Gems website but their site isnt working.....:(

  • it works on my computer. i use explorer. i tried another browser and it didn't work, too.

  • oh ok, :D

  • Our site is best viewed with Internet Explorer 6 or later version.

  • does anybody know what the "special" solution is...its

    .................something i dont know....

  • must be an alkaline solution

  • right......

  • lol. they sure use an awfully lot of "special" techniques and devices to make these

  • they ripped off the ancients

  • That was pretty COOL!!!!!!!!! COOLEST JOB IN THE WORLD! It takes so much care to do this. truly it is not a job, but a passion.
