Billy, how about accountability for every one of us, the bullies, the criminals, the liars, cheats and thieves, the unkind and selfish (I know government fits all the above but no irony intended). Whether we run the country, big business or just work and raise children. Everyone should be accountable. If it's not taught young there will be less hope for the future, and I see a very sad future before us.

my job was sent overseas so when i asked how can that be they told me it was good for our economy. but nobody seems to care, when the masses sell their shares. my wages were sold to a foreign land and our leaders claim victory when they have no accountability.

Billy sounds like he is dancing around. He has done good work but he sounds more like a liberal democrat. He gets better as he goes along but the word "democarcy" doesn't mean anything unless you specify what CLASS the word applies to. Folks should read State and Revolution--if it seems like martian--read it again.

That's a great song, but unlike Billy I don't use the words "democratic and socialist" as the same word. It's a waste of breathe. Socialism is democracy, even the "totalitarian" version was awfully democratic (which is why I don't use that word to describe that).

By that statement, I mean those people in those regimes were all better off when their democratic needs for housing, health care, and jobs were taken care of. I'm not defending all the actions of those regimes, but now, they live in hellish conditions.
