Exclusives drive console sales and if there's one thing Sony really needs right now, it's console sales. They need exclusives like Killzone 2 (OMFG SO DAMN AWESOME!), Resistance 2, Little Big Planet, Metal Gear Solid 4, and Grand Turismo 5 to drive console sales. Well, that and the fact that neither Metal Gear Solid 4 or Killzone 2 could ever be done on the 360. The 360 isn't anywhere near as powerful and efficient as the PS3.

I've got a PS3 and a 360 and I already have Halo 3, Mass Effect, and Gears. I don't like the Command and Conquer games on the 360 cause they're just crappy ports of the PC version. I can tell you from hands on experience that the PS3's hardware is better than the 360's, but the 360's software is better than the PS3. Especially with the New Xbox Experience; however, the PS3 does have better exclusives than the 360. Plus, Bioshock (one of the best games of all time) will be on the PS3.

resistance 2 (i don't care what you say, the multiplayer looks fun and the first one was fun, so i'm sure this one is too, especially from all the other feedback i've gotten), syphon filter, twisted metal, a possible zone of the enders 3, MGS5 (under the patent of Metal Gear Solid Existence),dark cloud 3, sly 4, and more. and that doesn't go without to say that sure there will be some flops in some of these games, but most are promising titles that have proven themselves from past installments.

other things to consider: ps3 has a built in wireless network adapter, blu-ray, updates, skype, applications, soon a built-in youtube recorder, web browser, you can increase the harddrive space to well over 500gbs, Home, stronger processor - some games are actually tapping into the multiple cores of the ps3 (since the 360 has only 3, it can't do things like killzone 2 or mgs4 can), and better overall hardware. i've had two 360's break down on me, my ps3 is still running perfectly however.

and don't let me get started on ratchet and clank and the jak series. those two platformer titles are easily some of the best to ever exist. ratchet's weapon customization options and constant upgrading and RPG style gameplay makes it a hell of a lot of fun, despite the kiddish demographic to the tile. and jak 3 is the first game to ever have a seamless-no load time free roaming game. it's just flat out fantastic how fun those games are, and saying that they are for little kids is stupid.

pt 2. resistance is an excellent first person shooter. it doesn't do too many things new, but it does a great job for a FPS. both resistance 1 and 2 have high ratings (2 already has a 9.5/10 from IGN.) something tells me you think gears is phenomenal, but that game is one of the most overhyped piece of shit games ever made. it's all run n' gun and we've seen that since the very early psone days, even before that. gears offers nothing new, except a pretty good cover mechanic.

socom isn't shit, the confrontation code that has been out recently just has a lot of bugs and needs patching which almost all ps3 games eventually get. socom is one of the best online games i've ever played since the ps2 days, and i've heard that socom confrontation is just as good, if not better, in all aspects except for the constant glitching and bugs that are currently enabled in the game. heavenly sword is a good game too, you're just finding every way possible to hate on the game.

and any metal gear fan would know that there is a lot more to metal gear than just getting the face camo. there are so many unlockables and easter eggs in that game that it alone is worth playing over and over again, not including how awesome the single player mode is anyways. and how can you enjoy the 360 so much but hate on the ps3? the 360 has a fucking failure rate over 33% and only a handful of good exclusives, such as halo, which is also overrated when compared to cod4 and other titles.
