  • Totally incorrect , the parafollicular cells are NOT in the spaces inbetween. infact they lie either between or we can say within the basement membrane of the follicular cells ... so 3 mins onwards is rather wrong.

  • Thank you very much, you are a good Person. =)

  • you are a legend...

  • this videos are good only for practical purpose of histology...because as i see doctor dont say anything about characteristics of cells, for example about shape of nucleus,GER,Golgy, lysosomes, membrane ...

  • And I thank YOU very much!

  • Really Love your work! With all the cost cutting at Australian med schools... this is an essential resource. Would love to attend one of your USMLE pathology classes that you held last year :) Thank you for making me love histology/ histopathology again.

  • my histology was too bad.....I wish I had seen ur videos before. :(

    I am late

  • I love you sir...........kisses from Pakistan

  • i'm a thyroid cancer survivor, and had to under go a thyroid ectomy . i'm still kinda pissed about the fact that it's gone and how instrumental and important this gland is that many take for granted in their own bodies. i'm studying this particular video a little bit and it does confirm a little bit more, to me that synthetic thyroid hormone , is not the same as natural made hormone in the body, and does my medicine even have the "calcitonin" within synthroid, and Levothyroxin? or levoxyl?

  • @frankenboston calcitonin is not substituted, which is why thyroid cancer survivors run a slightly higher risk of osteoporosis, especially if the subsituted thyroxin dosis is leaning towards the high end for reasons of tumor supression. Still, your calcium metabolism in the absence of a thyroid is run by your kidneys and the parathyroid glands, so it's not completely out of whack.

  • @Spatzenzunge hmmm no kiddin ! i notice that too, i get allot of extra creakiness and discomfort in my bones, in certain parts of my body. no wonder. thanks. ill try taking calcium tabs , which i haven't been at all. perhaps it will make a big difference. or maybe Boniva

  • I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee you....<3

    Thank you again! Kind Regards

  • Thank u! =)

  • I thank you for your effort. These videos are just great and offer the image how all these structures look like without beeing angry and shouting: I hate histology. Together with audio accompaniment, it makes the histology much more simpler and easier to study (and even more interesting). And I'm really glad you speak in ordinary language so we in Czech republic are able to understand you perfectly. Thank you one more time!

  • i truly feel watching all the 3-5 minute shotgun movies (about 96) is a good substitute for taking a formal course......wdc

and if USMLE expects you to know more than this, then they can go to hell
