I'm expecting Apple to come up with the iPhone 5s and have 1Tb of RAM and 3Tb of storage with LTE connections and be the size of a penny and have holographic color projectors and hover pads and a 100GP camera and an extremely complex voice service and voice activation for almost everything and also a better keyboard and a better rotating feature like the one in the iPad enabling more places to be rotated. After all this IS the future isn't it?

Windows 8 is just focused for tablets, in the PCs part everything is the same, almost all the improvements are for tablets, and is basically 7 with a metro UI in the top, If I get Windows 8 is just for the speed and updates, later of that the first thing I will do is get rid off the Metro UI, really pointless that they don't even do alittle work about Windows itself, really dissapointing

Second- Many innovations you see from 7 came directly from xp (tasked -based graphical user interface, translucent blue rectangles in explorer, log on and off options, and even hibernation) Third-simplicity and ease of use; xp was very user friendly when it first came out (less bugs and problems from its release than both vista and 7)

It barely ran there were so many issues, most of which were fixed with SP1. I agree, XP is better than Vista, but 7 is the best Windows OS to date, and I will be surprised if Microsoft manage to top it.

p.s. try running vista on a single core with 1gig of ram on a laptop...vista for me is still bad lol

People are extremely ignorant when it comes to Windows 8. Before making erroneous comments, please make sure to actually investigate the subject. It is far more efficient than 7, the Metro interface is switchable, it is not based on Windows Phone 7 as some moron suggested, multitasking is far superior, layout is better, less resource hungry. There is not a single area in which it is not superior to 7 especially in app creation simplicity. this is early stages! So much more to come yet.

Im a legal user of Windows 7, and I have desktop-gaming PC, and i wont upgrade for 120%. It contains too few changes, that i could use, its not as faster as 7 was in comparision to Vista, and i dont like those new features like changed menu start windows store integrated (im from Europe, it is propably targeted on USA), end i dont (and wont) need tablet pc. So im stil waiting for my Windows (and Im more like a fan of Microsoft, then hater).

I mean it spanned the late Pentium 4's, the first Dual Core Pentium D's, Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Quads among others it was around for a very long time. But 1156 was a joke! What was Intel thinking? That was was only around for like a year if I recall and replaced with 1155 witch when it comes down to it, to be honest as good as SB is it was only a tiny upgrade most people wouldn't notice. I think car companies feeling somewhat left out in the technological overhaul that the information age has lent to so many industries will start to push smarter cars. BMWi and Chevy Volt have Apps that will sync with the data collected by the car for your review. Very excited for these kind of cars. @Lintu1995 i like vista.. it's not bad after SP1 and SP2, as well as all the regular updates etc. Also, if you have more than 1gb of ram, it runs fine... Most of the problems were caused by bad graphics drivers at launch, or old gpu hardware, or old xp computers with 512mb of ram or less attempting to upgrade. Any pc bought or built in the last 4 years (other than netbooks) should run it fine. I use it as my main gaming OS. windows 8 is like windows 7 with metro crap tacked on tho. I removed it
