Thanks Bill, I'm still not quite sure, I may not even be playing it right or maybe it sounds similar to Thistle of Scotland but is in fact something else?

Crackin' march Chris. 5* I played it for many years. I learned from a Jimmy Shand selection called "Marching with Jimmy Shand" and it was the second tune to Scotland the Brave. The name of it is "The Thistle of Scotland".
