Why do groups of people feel they have the right to strip away rights from individuals!!! If I think it is worth my time to work for $3/h then that is my right!

God forbid that Americans have a right to work in this country unless they're union. That would be just awful. Why don't we just unionize every worker in this country so organized labor can have complete control over everybody. If you take the element of free choice away, workers in America will essentially become slaves.

Nah....let's be at the mercy of employers because we know that they NEVER do anything that would cause harm to workers...........like overworking them, hiring them as part-time and working them over 40 hours a week so that they don't have to pay them benefits. Treating them like units of work that can be easily replaced if they get sick, etc.

Listen, unions have not always been right, but without unions, workers will be abused slaves with no job security or rights. Count on it.

There needs to be a ballance. If unions have too much power,the same result will happen with abuse and slavery in a way. Without choices,we will be stuck with what we have to deal with. For example, if the unions had too much power, they would be able to raise your dues as much as they want. And you would have no where to run.

Except you are not at the mercy of the employer because you can always pick up and leave or get new skills, or start your own company your own way..But god forbid you do any of those things with out the consent of the union.
