I guess they used lazers like everyone else, but consider the kind of ridiculous crap the Doctor and the Master pull off by screwing with time and imagine a whole race that can do that. It's no wonder the only things that can match up against them are the greatest armored killers in the universe.

I'm always afraid to tell people because you know some random person from out of no where is going to join this conversation and say something rude about it and for all I know, you could have. I don't know why I worry about it really. Friends accept you for who you are, so hopefully none of the other Martha fans hold it against me.

Hm. If the Sontarans are that pissed about not being allowed to fight in the Time War, I'd think the Time Lords should have known they would be. It's not hard to guess, and it's clear they must have asked to fight. They would've probably been very pleased with the Time Lords if they'd allied(also, get everyone you can to fight the Daleks, you'll need them).
