Music saves and kills people during their worst times of life. It also marks & tatoos the best moments on our brain. strange thing it is. True, existing wonder of the world, that has never been searched for, that by very few has it been discovered. Peace for the music, for the best cure and the most lethal venom.
Jerry sang his heart out during the Tribute Song "Black Gives Way To Blue" in memory of his friend Layne last Friday night a the Key Arena in Seattle, it wan an amazing performance and the entire concert was recorded in 3D for an upcoming DVD that will be out sometime next year but you can check out my channel for live footage that I recorded.... Check it out!!.. RIP Layne!!..
Layne was a beautiful and awesomely talented, yet obviously tortured man. His voice and harmonizing w/ Cantrell was beyond compare, and AIC was such a huge part of what is, in my opinion, some of the best music that's ever existed and probably ever will.
onlt 200 went to his gathering after his death it should have been 2 million what a god damr shame r i p 4ever i know your in heaven c u when i get there
man, I think you've delivered the most comprehensive comp. of Alice in Chains pics ever put on youtube. Thank you for that, i love this song. Great job.
this is so insync like WOW i wish i could do that but that would take practice an btw R.I.P lAayne, this song has a meaning to be but i dont care to share
Layne was an incredible talent.... He was an original, a truly unique sound coming out of a city with so much energy at what was to me the reemergence of true Rock and Roll.. The pain of Layne's demons were laid out in his music... I can relate.. I had, and still have my own demons to battle but fortunately i managed to escape the addictions in my life.. Layne could not.. He was broken and couldn't be fixed... Both this song and Down in a hole tell his story.. RIP Layne.. The world misses you.
@fortune42100 This song and all of them all gets me through most all of my days. Layne Staley had the best voice, and I'm glad I can hear it still. Glad it's not lost. Sorry for your fortune best vocalist brother,
I buried my little brother to the same vices.
R.I.P. Layne Staley and R.I.P Joel my lil' brother. I miss them both equally.
But I'll see them again. Lets just get a singer like Layne, we need one.

RIP Mike Starr. Your struggles have been well documented and I hope you're finally at peace. Say "hi" to Layne when you reunite with him

Personally I think he is the best grunge singer ever. No one can write songs like him. R.I.P Layne

Layne was great. It is so sad that he couldn't be here to keep AIC going strong. Bummer.
