  • your beautiful, bubbly personality, and just all around fun to watch. You made a great video. and I agree with an earlier post that you NEED a cooking show. Thank you for a very enjoyable 9 min.

  • @theolschoolblues awww thanks so much, so happy you enjoyed the video :) X

  • your ugly !

  • @nikhilksite wow, well that's really nice of you to say???? what a nice person you must be, lol

  • @nikhilksite your a batty boy init....

  • @carolineartiss Nice recipe, unfortunately we dont use lemon juice sweetheart and you forget to add the lemon grass and ginger. Without this this is not call Satay.

    - Malaysia -

  • cool ill try this one right now heheh

  • Great video! I like that chatty personality of yours, made me concentrate on the vid. xD

  • @Tamoderator aw that's good to know :) thank you and hope you try it out X

  • Caroline ima.making it tmr for Thanksgiving wohooo

  • Great looks, great personality, give this woman a show!

  • @kritikalmass7 haha!! thank you :) X

  • Caroline,

What a great video. I've had Thai satay in San Francisco and look forward to using your recipe. You've got a great bubbly personality and do a fantastic job of teaching. I am so disgusted by some of these comments...wish they could just be dumped in the trash where they belong or blocked. You've done us a favor and they do not deserve your time.

  • @KathyShae Aw hey, thanks so much for your lovely comment. Really appreciate it :) Hope you enjoy! X

  • u can try wear a pair of goggles for those shallots.. lol

  • @izaatmusic cool! I'll give it a go... I'll look scary though probably lol! X

  • @carolineartiss seriously! it works for me!

  • My trick to stop your onions from making you tear up. Refrigerate the onions before using them, and wash your hands after slicing them up.

  • @12quillemall5321 I'll give that a go, thanks :) X

  • Another GREAT recipe from Caroline. She Rocks and her food is easy to prepare!

  • @CaptBadazz awww thanks CaptBadazz :) your soooo lovely! X

  • Found your vids whilst looking for a coleslaw recipe. Very informative and i really like the level of detail that you give. Far too many tutorials leave ot the little steps that can make all the difference. Already picked out a few of your recipes that i am eager to try. As for your eyes watering with onions, run your wrists under cold water when you feel them starting to go and this stops it happening. Sounds unlikely but really does work.

  • @roofio5555 hi ya! SO happy you like the recipe videos. Some people say I talk too much lol, but as far as I"m concerned I want people to be able to make it right first time so that's why I add in the small and important details... I don't like to hold anything back :) keep in touch and thanks so much for taking the time to comment! X

  • However do you stay so trim with all that delicious food? :)

  • @katieruggles LOL, I have to work out now a days :( ... lol! X

  • You really love that blender, eh? hehe

  • @syiunshi Uh huh!! LOL, thanks for watching :) X

  • ~ Looks great, I'm going to try this ~

Have NEVER cooked with Coriander, so should be interesting.

  • @StowAlex oooh, well your in for a treat then. Hope you enjoy! Let me know :) X

  • which part of the chicken are you using please?

  • @florencelovme Hi! I am using chicken breast in this video, or you could use chicken thigh meat, or lamb or beef too. Hope you enjoy it and thanks for sticking up for in that comment :) lol! There's always gonna be haters lol! have a great week X

  • @carolineartiss you're very welcome! thanks for the tips! In restaurants you dont even know what kind of quality meat they use, so its great to do it yourself! I'll use lean chicken like yours to avoid any fatty stuff (girls mind your diets lol!) and I hope it turns out well.

  • inexpereince video, but still love the way you cooked that satay chicken...

  • @Charles19891000 hello, yes I am a cook not a camera person lol, but my amateur skills still manage to teach people. One day I hope I have a real camera man! hope you enjoy the recipe and try it out :) X

  • Talks too much, is cute but tries to be too cute. Should stop cooking and try to take up some other game.

  • @gujratibhai4 Ummmmm, I talk alot to describe what I am doing in detail so that people will get it right at home. there's nothing worse than an unhelpful tutorial. Plus I have been cooking 16 years so I shan't just "stop cooking" and do something else? plus it's not a game it's been my living. I spend much of my own spare time doing these tutorials for people and I don't appreciate your comment.

  • @gujratibhai4 you sound like a pervert watching videos of women performing different tasks because you are unsatisfied with your personal affairs and find something to whine about on an anonymous network. well done, wanker! stay in your rotten dungeon and dont ever come out. you are the reason that some of us have to hide our videos.

Im so sick of these bastards. Girl, you are doing a great job with your cooking. dont ever give it up. Thank you so much for your helpful videos -you motivate me

  • all the bad comments are from gay guys. u are hot and ur recipe rock!

  • I heard that lighting a candle while chopping onion avoids you crying, but never tried it, at all. I'm just chopping it always without make-up and pretending it's so clearfull for my tear ducts :D

  • Oh thanks for showing how to cook satay, you have presented the process in a very easy way, I'm suscribing to your channel!

  • I love to see videos like this that was actually intended to teach you how to cook turn into a nest infested with national debates.. go on guys you're saving the world fo sho

  • Wow, you have beautiful hair!

I have tried Indonesian & Vietnamese satays.. they're really delicious too.

If I eat Malaysian satay, will I have beautiful hair too? J/K ;)

  • @fixiegreen1 I know it's all over the far east? I didn't say you can only find it in Malaysia?? The Malaysians have their own satay as do all the other countries that make it?! dont you WTF me! lol!

  • @carolineartiss Yeah!!! I agree with you!!! That's so true....

  • It's mostly common in thai food. But even in china they had their own type of satay. However, asian cuisine rocks and thats all that matters.

  • @carolineartiss sorry for that, i dont read the titel and video rightly, its my chauvinist fault.

  • @carolineartiss lol@dont you WTF me! lol!

  • @fixiegreen1

there's sooo many diffrent sateh so don't and there's nooo sateh comming from holland haha ff sirrieus nederlanders en sateh...die vinden de sateh bij de chinees al pittig

  • @fixiegreen1 how about shit that your father or your brother thrown to Malaysian embassy at Jakarta ? i`m very sure that was originated from Indonesia too ! Indonesian should proud of it because that can only found in Indonesia !

  • @Kronixzz yur right dude!!

  • @Kronixzz yeah and i proud of it! thats shemale country not even us a letter of protest.

    what a shemale coutry.

  • @fixiegreen1 sorry, Malaysian dont have a time to take care of impurity behavior of Indonesia ! we are busy to make our country more successful. Malaysian goverment advise us to ignore construction worker and maid behavior that like to play shit and make provocation to the others country to avoid us become shitty minded like indonesia !

  • @Kronixzz bussy to lick british ass to help your shemale country when you have foreign problem as you do at confrontation time! we dont make any provocation what we did is our reaction to your country behavior. "action and reaction law" dog!

  • @fixiegreen1 what law ? playing with shit and making demonstration you said "action and reaction law" ? why INDOGSIAL dont just send a memorendum to ICJ and let the international court to settle it if you are in a true side ? And we are not begging for british help but it was an alliance help as agreed by both side ! many country did that like singapore, thailand, philipine, even america. Im sure that alliance help is not for corrupt and problem maker like inDOGnesia.

  • @Kronixzz there is no demonstration if thers no action first! that is what i mean action and reaction law! how can we demonstration if there is no problem with your shemale country!

alliance is what shemale do! even holland not begging help for british or us help when we kicked them out from papua!

we are not problem maker, we dont steal other country culture, we dont hurt any foreign worker, and we respect our neighborhood!

i dont speak english i speak german.

  • Comment removed

  • @fixiegreen1 demonstration is everywhere in your country ! I do not wonder if something small problem will also become demonstation there. For example, chinese ethnic there, just because they had better life than other ethnic, other typical indonesian has made demonstration, killed them, raped their women, steal their property like what happen in jakarta in 1999.

  • @Kronixzz at least we have freedom of speech, something that our neighborhood dont have.

at 1998 there is provocation between indonesian chinese and local, before and after 1998 riot we live side by side, no jealous or something thats proved what happend in 1998 just a shit of propaganda!

at least dutch do what a gentleman must do, they dont ask for help from anyone to pretend their teritory.

  • @fixiegreen1 im sure all demonstration on your country due to too much freedom on speech until slander also allowed in speech! you know the"burn quran day" and "drawing mohamad s.a.w day" incident ? why it was happened? because they get to much freedom until they said it was one of their freedom on speech !

one of example when we get to much freedom on speech is,1998 anti chinese riot incident in jakarta ! we can condemn other race without any ban from goverment.

  • @fixiegreen1 i repeat again, why dutch have to seriously defend something not theirs? why they should call all their allies

when they are not seriously defend it.

  • Comment removed

  • @fixiegreen1 papua in not dutch homeland, so why they should protect something not theirs seriously. but when others country attack them in holland, im sure all their alliance will give some help. Not just holland, for example, when america attack china, russia will give some help because they have agreed SCO momerandum. it is not cowardly, but it is a strategy.

    .

  • @fixiegreen1 you said indonesian is not a problem maker ? how about 70% of crime in malaysia all due to indonesian. fights, robbery, prostitution, burglary almost everything because of illegal indonesian immigrants.illegal indonesian immigrants not also making problem in malaysia, but they also making problem in australia. for example, they were rioting at a detention center in Australia recently.

  • @Kronixzz oh really can i get non malaysian source?

  • @fixiegreen1 google it.you type indonesian illegal riot in australian detention camp. you will get a report from australian newspaper !

  • @fixiegreen1 this is the last time i replying your comment. seriously im tired to keep reply your comment ! this is cooking video not a forum. after this, whatever you write i will not reply your comment again. i am sorry if one of my comment was hurting you. make japan and korea as our example, they change their hatred became motivation to them to keep succes to develop their country.

    Peace be upon you

  • i know this is a cooking video, i dont comment on our national problem,

    i dont inviting debate.

    Jazakumullah Khairan. Danke

  • @fixiegreen1 if we hurting foriegn worker. why every day indonesian come to malaysia illegally, even they have to crossing Malacca straits with using small boat?

if indonesian respect their neighbour, indonesia goverment should find a way to stop indonesian go to others country illegally !

  • @Kronixzz

my answer is money, in malaysia job is easy to find. they dont need lot of paper to get "easy money".

the problem is why malaysians accept indonesian illegal workers. if they not accepted and job is hard to find trust me they wont be illegal workers.

  • @fixiegreen1 my answer is also money. Indonesian illegal workers are cheaper to employ than local worker. in this case, I commend the Indonesian workers, they will do anything even they will get little pay ! but, if we are hurting or treat indonesian illegal worker badly, why they still come to work in malaysia? if they come here illegally without visa, they cant do anything if they are torture by their employer.

  • @fixiegreen1 are you just using google translater ? even primary school student can write proper english than yours !

  • Comment removed

  • nice accent for a malaysian ... how u get it? gonna look for ur fb.

  • @MegaSmilee1 it's a british accent.

  • the URL in your description looks like it has been hijacked and tries to download rubbish / malware to your computer

  • if u wanna stop tearing while dealing with shallots, remember to chew gums while ur handling them- it works!:)

  • hot cook, all good! lol

  • Hey hun! Another tip, if you keep the onions re-fridgerated and only take them out when needed, it inhibits the cry (to the point of balling) factor :oP

  • Lovely recipe thanks for sharing i end up cooking them for 1 and half hours...it's kind of big project to me!!! Thank you the satay sauce are gorgeous.

  • Hello again my precious. As requested: To keep your beautiful eyes from tearing up with onion gas wear a pair of inexpensive safety glasses available at any hardware store.I keep them in my kitchen drawer for as needed. Keep up the good work. I amoff to make your crab cakes benedict for breakfast here in the US!

  • @EARDistortion that would be the tumeric - don't let it put you off!

  • Hey Caroline, how's going? Nice cooking style there, kinda reminds me of Nigella... you're absolutely gorgeous! :-D Btw, as for the tips for onions - I think it is best to leave them in the fridge at least for a couple of hours so they won't irritate the eyes. But anyways, you're amazing. Thanks for sharing the tips!

  • @CeritaDia Hi ya, Thank you for your lovely comment :) and for the great tip on onions :) x

  • i wonder if she is wearing a g string underneath those black tight pants.

  • I wasnt watching the cooking. I'm just watching her tight red top and chest cleavage.

  • NO MORE TEAR WITH ONIONS:

The only reason why we cry with raw onions is becouse inside our nose we have a gland that reacts to that smell. So next time you cut onions make sure you breath trough you´re mouth. That´s all you have to do.

  • @marianajardine Wow, thats fantastic! Thanks so much for telling us and it will help everyone that reads this! I really needed that in my video lol x

  • babe, if you add 2 tablespoons of sugar, the satay will taste better... trust me.. :-)
