It's a great vibrant hive of activity, with so many interesting places for tourists. Singaporeans are lucky. The airport is beautiful with so much eateries. i simply adore butterflies in the enclosed area in the transit lounge. whenever i'm in singapore i'll pop in there. u don't get such interesting features elsewhere in an airport.

Lovely place, so much to see and do now, tourists are arriving in Singapore in droves. It's the food ,shopping, friendly ppl, and I must say it again, the glorious food! Best part is that I lost my wallet and the finder brought it back to me..with everything intact. Mine's not a rare case, seems things lost in taxis or any public places are found and tracked to the owner. so it's a good idea to leave a cell phone no in the wallet. 'course don''t make a habit of leaving things behind.

i went to singapore.. i liked it... quite expensive.. so i need to save more money coz im planning to go back... an advice a nice singaporean taxi driver gave us when we were there.... not to take taxi between 5-8pm, coz they charge extra, its the rush hour.... also, they go around the ERP's so they wont get charged.. maybe that's why they go the long way.. at least our taxi driver was honest...

Be careful ;some hawkers overcharge and some taxi drivers like to go the long way so as to clock longer distances and earn more.they like to target caucasians because they assume that foreigners dun know the streets well.

I visited Singapore in 2006 and was very very dissappointed. I hoped to see grand Asian temples, but they were few and far beween as most of the country as been overtaken by shopping malls. Singaporeans generally lack emotional intelligence and are wierd, and invent wierd things, such as the igallop, which is an "exercise" maching. Also, the city is filthy, and there are stale brown canals running in Little India...doesn't live up to its reputation at all !!!

singapore may give u a good experience if ur a tourist, but if u live here its a different story. remember, this video is targeted for tourists, so naturally it wont show the overcrowded public transport, with half compartments filled by indian construction workers or other blue collar jobs; it wont show the old people working as janitors; it wont show the locals ridiculing the chinese workers, especially the females; it wont show the disgusting intermarriage b/w the local chinese and indian;
