@lyud903 'homosexuality is caused by unmet emotional needs' - do you have any real evidence for this? Why do you need to 'explain' homosexuality in pathological terms? Can you even define what homosexuality is ? I'm not sure you've thought this through.

@KingsCrossHarry Can't you see men have penises and women vagina? Do you know the difference between positive and negative? Can you see differences , similarities and equivalences? HOMOSEXUALITY IS CAUSED BY TRAUMA AND ABUSE during childhood. NOONE CHOOSES TO BE GAY. Homosexuals do not need acceptance, all they need is treatment, reparative therapy to help them overcome their mental illnesses. Gays need respect and compassion to help them recover. They are humans too!

@KingsCrossHarry The removal of homosexuality from the DSM had the effect of discouraging treatment and research. The bulk of early psychodynamic research and theory beginning with Freud indicated that homosexuality is not a natural, inborn condition. Yet the literature came to an abrupt stop when it became "common knowledge" that homosexuality was in fact not a problem. This discouraged clinicians from communicating with each other, and from making presentations at professional meetings.

The evidence in your very eyes! men are created men and women were created women! Their bodies are symmetrical and fit each other perfectly! Nature did a very good job! There are some aberrated women and men who cannot see the obvious due to trauma and abuse! Once again you assert that homosexuality is pathological but once again you produce no evidence whatsoever. The World Health Organisation, the American Psychological Association and the British Medical Association all say you are WRONG. Google any of these with the word 'homosexual' and you will see the evidence. Your comments fall in the same category as those made by racists and anti-semites. You clearly have a problem. @KingsCrossHarry So aberrated! All those associations are all controled by PC. They all serve a political game called Political Correctness! The decision by APA in 1973 to remove homosexuality from the DSM was utterly political, no scientific breakthrough was ever reached. Racism has zero to do with this since being a member of any race race is an immutable, genetic human condition, unlike homosexuality wich was never proven to be innate, genetic. All we have is mere speculationi coated with PC!

@lyud903 I've never been abused, I do have the most beautiful straight parents, I don't come from a disfuncional family, I have really good friends, as you americans say I'm a straight A student, interested in world and I guess I'm intersting. @pmfa91 Greetings! I think you should do whatever you wish to do, If you want to be gay it is up to you, but in the event you decide to get treated for homosexualism the door should remain opened. Nobody should close that door on you. Happines is a concept! There are religious people who practice third world Taliban religion faith and are happy about it. There are others that practice sodomy in prison and wish not to be let out. Some pedophiles are very happy and only lament not being accepted

it is very sad to be compared or put in such a way when there is hope, treatment available to diminish and perhaps to terminate homosexuality utterly. @lyud903 I think u should do your research on the subject, a more imparcial one, and try not to be driven by ur bias.I choose to have a gay life style(i could opt to have a straight one) but I wouldn't be happy.I've tried so many times in my youth (and i'm only 19) to get away with this feelings.i've been through medication,everything!I swear it.!didn't worked.And i'm hurting no one.Just doing best the best I know with respect. There are very few things as sad as an old Homosexual man living abandoned in a nursing home, without kids, family, noone to care for him. How can our hearts not go out to the young, prehomosexual boy or girl who is already shy, lonely, sensitive, and who surely suffers taunting rejection and maybe even beatings by the very peers he or she envies and most longs to be with?
This is the very reason so many compassionate people "approve Homosexuality" The victimology theory!
