Everything these dancers do give me goose-bumps. I guess this is the N. Sleeping Beuty to my choirs' EXACT performance of Handels' Messiah. (When I say 'exact', I mean .. perfect and with .. STYLE.)
Everyone is being so critical. I thought the peice was dynamic and passionate. Yeah, there were a few timing issues, but who the hell cares? They did a fantastic job.
obviously you don't understand the intent of the music and the meaning. it is an a capella arrangement of the negro spiritual elijah rock written by Moses Hogan, one of the most prolific choral arrangers in American music today. the music lends itself to the movement with an execution i have never seen any choreographer do to a piece of this nature. please educate yourself before criticizing a piece of music. GREAT PIECE AND GREAT MUSIC!
