  • lol ra's uses a metal stick, bruce is using sword...

  • This is the first time I've ever seen Liam Neeson play the bad guy

  • @elnumbrotres Probably something to do with the fact that this is the first time he has ever played the bad guy XD

  • @LunaWolf217 is it actually though, or am I forgetting any movies?

  • @elnumbrotres Haha I was only joking but as far as I know yes lol

  • BATMAN = NINJA

  • liam neeson just makes anything more epic >_>

  • Training, any kind of training is only a tool. You use it like you would use a weapon. But the will to act can break experienced masters's will and achieve victory.

  • Ra's?

  • The entire world we live in is screwed up in ways there are some people who aren't caught for murdering another because get out of the country, others who get five to ten for rape and get released early for good behavior, people in other countries where children get executed for what's been done to them.

  • @jessijgirl1 how about corrupt governments, banks running the world and large corporations sucking in all the money while the rest of us are left to suffer, which provoke rape and murder?

  • is that Ra's al Ghul ?

  • Comment removed

  • There is definitely logic behind Ra's reasoning that "crime cannot be tolerated." Too often in our society criminals know there are loopholes in the judicial system which can be exploited. Were the punishments quicker and more severe for even petty crimes criminals might think twice.

  • @kabodkhwaamkhid If we could guarantee that the punishments were just, his reasoning would be flawless. In an uncertain world, society has to balance the severity of punishments with ambiguity about innocence and responsibility. Think of a man caught doing 90 in 25 mph zone. Ticket. Now put a school girl in the road and suddenly we're talking about years in prison, thousands in liability. The man wasn't responsible for the girl being in the road. How is such an increase in the punishment just?

  • I love Liam Neeson, he's an amazing actor... ironically in real life his wife was "taken" from him too... she died from an accident. Poor thing :(

  • amazing absolutely brilliant

  • At 1:26, it's called a shoku. They r a pair of claws that the ninja would wear, one on each foot and one on each hand, to help them climb walls, buildings, trees, whatever they needed to. And because shoku were made of steel, the claws could also be used to block sword attacks and counter attack by slashing and ripping your opponent to pieces. Hope that helps.

  • 1:26, what's that thing ??

  • Oh look, 1 person [Insert witty comment here], amiright?

  • the dark knight rises trailer has parts of this movie am i right

  • @Ricardo7250 Yeah, it looks like there's gonna be a lot of flashbacks.

  • nice

  • 1 person gave up there footing for a killing stance.

  • @Merc065 stroke, not stance.

  • @Merc065 Now two, but for a killing "stroke" ;) Nice post :)

  • Training is nothing, Will is everything. The will to act.

  • @UnstableCore Oh where'd you get that?

  • @WHATYOUSAYWHITEBOY Come on man, most important part of the video. 3:00

  • @UnstableCore See, I think stuff like that, though, is dangerous with our youth. He's right that the will to act is most important, but if someone has a gun, you need to chill out. Statistics show that trying to be a 'hero' only gets people killed. You wanna save lives? Sit there and give the guy what he wants.

  • @EJNewbury I don't want to piss off any die-hard Bat fans. I'm just saying, realistically, Thomas Wayne had the right idea: "Take it easy - here you go".

  • @EJNewbury True. Its what 99% of what a person would do. Police will tell you all the time to try and remain calm, and dont make eye contact so you wont give the mugger a reason to shot you. However in the film Ra al Ghul point was that his father showed weakness in dealing with thugs, criminals, and mobsters. He was not some average guy from Gothom but a man of power and wealth. The way Bruce uses his wealth and power is the exact opposite of his fathers. The will to act.

  • @EJNewbury Yes your very right, without a doubt. But. "Sit there and give the guy what he wants." Wouldn't that also be the will to act? I mean, if one has made their decision to give the mugger what he or she wants, that's considered acting upon the situation. You can be trained to do so too, but that training is useless if you don't have the will execute it and end up trying to fight the mugger. The problem is kids can't look into it just as you and me. They do what their hero does.

  • @UnstableCore I suppose, yes; I had considered that. I just feel bad as a comic book kid growing up and seeing documentaries about kids running out and possibly getting themselves killed. Don't get me wrong, help your fellow man; do everything you can to protect him/her. But, in the instance of Bruce's parents death, that was pure chance gone bad. Thomas had the right idea, don't risk your families life cause you want to be a hero for your son.

  • @UnstableCore Also, the martial arts stuff has gotten out of hand. I bet you there's actually people here that think if I'm holding a gun at them from 10 feet away, that someone who knows 'karate' is going to take the gun away from me before I blow a hole in them. It's ridiculous.

  • @EJNewbury you and I* lol

  • @EJNewbury He was not talking about the ally murder. He was talking about the overall way his father was dealing with thugs, criminals & mobsters. Bruce father was not an average guy like you & me. He had wealth and power. Look at the way Bruce deals with Gothom. Its the opposite of how his father dealt with it. If we had the power to change laws and I used it to start programs to help criminals get out early and you used it to keep them in longer your way would be more aggressive. Will to act.

  • @b7r7u7c7e Um, that's fine if you see it that way. But that sounds like an over-analyzing-convolution to me. I think that interaction was talking about the alley, my evidence is that their reactions didn't indicate that they were talking about your thesis. Sorry - but there's no evidence for your point - making it just an opinion. One that would be stupid if it was the case. Thomas Wayne did plenty in dealing with crime - that's what I remember from the comics, anyway.

  • @EJNewbury I run an MMA gym in California and we have alot of cops that come in to train. This is what they tell me all the time. Bro, relax take a deep breath. lol Insults are so old on youtube.

  • @b7r7u7c7e NO, no! Please, I really was trying to say that from a place of discourse. I was saying that I didn't fully understand your point, even if it was a valid idea, because it wasn't being transmitted fully - or maybe I just missed it. My intention was not to insult. That being said, I know it's just a movie. I thought you were actually a bat-worshiper because of your username. Bruce; 7 (age bruce was at the time of his parents death). Cont

  • @EJNewbury lol Wow the way you explained my user name was interesting. Im in MMA and I have lots of pictures of Bruce Lee in my gym. I used seven because I was raised Catholic and its a spiritual number to me...so I just mix it. As for a bat worshiper not at all. Just love movies with great directors, writers with an amazing score. Nolon Batman has this. I love Batman Begins because of its constant theme about fear. I just think its funny when people(not you)take it seriously.

  • @b7r7u7c7e I really was just saying that the writers of this movie really misunderstand the idea of justice and practicality at some points. Thomas Wayne is depicted, in the comics anyway, as a very huge champion of civil rights and how it affects the criminal element. I just think it's a point of sophistry to imply that you're not 'acting' if you don't punch someone out. Violence will not deter violence - it only does the opposite. Not saying DON"T protect yourself, but, be practical

  • @EJNewbury I love comic books too. However I dont think I read them as much as you do so I could be wrong about Thomas Wayne. But keep in mind in comics they sometimes change the characters themes, motives, and personality. As for violence will not deter violence I disagree. If your attacked by a nation or about to be, you hit them back twice as hard. If the police has information your going to kill them there going to take you out. etc Its called walking with a big stick. What do you think?

  • @b7r7u7c7e I think that, as a general rule of thumb, deterrents don't work. Everyone knows that prescription pills can be very addictive - yet they get addicted; everyone knows that smoking causes cancer - yet they smoke; and everyone knows that murder one might get you the death penalty - yet they assassinate. Everyone thinks they are the exception and above generality. Violence is no different. You can threaten, but, in the end, cont

  • @b7r7u7c7e Cont they'll rationalize that THEY are special and above your ability to impact them. It's not rational, of course, but humans are not rational animals. They're animals CAPABLE of rationality. I think that if a big stick deterred people - then there would be no such thing as escalation - but, as we both know, there is; which defeats the thesis of the stick being an end. Life's much more complicated than simple force.

  • @b7r7u7c7e In the end, you'll believe whatever you want to believe. You don't seem like the type that's swayed by calculated analysis. But, next time you knock someone out in the ring, ask yourself if that will deter anyone else from getting in the ring with you. I think you'll be hard pressed to stand with that conclusion.

  • @b7r7u7c7e I'd also like to take a second to make a few kind hearted corrections. Police don't tell you to not make eye contact because 'you'll give them a reason to shoot you' - it's because of evolutionary behavior and dominance. You don't want them to think you're challenging them; same as a dog. Also, I'd like to point out that you really need to work on communication. I have little to no idea of what you were saying. I know you're probably 13 - but, please, make an effort.

  • @EJNewbury Ok I see where your coming from. I was going to reply based on some of the points you made to the film but I can tell your one of these guys who takes this to seriously. Its just a movie.

  •
