Also, overdosing on this one day, is like putting a whole bunch of Rogaine on your head and saying...OH!! LOOK!! It doesn't work! surprise surprise.
Also a known fact, that homepathy is NOT harmful...so overdose away. The treatment requires patience, and it's long term, not like you taking Tylenol, or something rapid-relief. All medicines have their own pace, and sad that you don't understand that this stuff is effective. It's still used today and has NO side-effects.
@Zimbabwegal The point is that if there was any active ingredient, a massive overdose would do SOMETHING. Hell, using a whole bottle of Rogaine at once would have some strange side effects, since it can cause itchiness, dry scalp, and even hair loss (irony alert!) in large doses. And yes, homeopathic is proven(many times over), to be harmless, and those SAME studies conclude that it's harmless because it's a simple placebo. There is LITERALLY nothing in it. It's not SLOW-acting, it's NON-acting.
@Zimbabwegal So if I take homeopathy, my cold will go away in just seven days - but if I don't take homeopathy, I have to wait a whole week?
Sorry, hunny. If there's NO side-effects, there can't be any medicinal effects either. The dose makes the poison, and to argue otherwise is an appeal to magic.
This overdose thing you did here just goes to prove the one thing that homeopaths already know...homeopathy is NOT harmful. It is only helpful but the treatment times are long. Basically it's for people who have patience and are ready to devote the time. There's a whole book on how each medicine reacts with the other medicine. I know of so many cases, among which are polio and cataract that got treated by homeopathy. It's long term medicine.
My grandfather is a practising homeopathic doctor. He told me how he helped cure many diseases, among which, one of the cases was polio, back when they didn't have a vaccine for it. A father brought in his child and all else had failed and homeopathy was his last resort. Me and my family use it on ourselves.
@Zimbabwegal That is either a flat-out lie (which is what I suspect), or they were getting other treatment. If a homeopathic remedy had cured a case of polio (or...anything biologically measurable like that) someone would have a nobel prize...and we'd have to rethink large portions of biology, physics, and chemistry. Please bring your children to see a real doctor when they need help if you actually want them to get help. Taking them to a homeopath is negligent.
@MicroVlogging Totally famous, on the local news, in the afternoon, on a Saturday. More people have probably seen the clip on youtube than were watching on TV...but still good :D
Real is scientific homeopathy. It cures even when Conventional Allopathic Medicine (CAM) fails. Evidence-based modern homeopathy is a nano-medicine bringing big results for everyone
@DrNancyMalik Sorry to be the one to tell you this (though I sure I'm not the first...), but no...no it's not. There is LITERALLY nothing to it but the placebo effect. You might as well wave a magic wand at someone and hope they survive long enough for them to pay the bill for all the good homeopathy does them...which is to say...none.
Do you have any idea how common this form of medicine is in South East Asia? You probably didn't bother looking into it, but did you know that there are tons of cases of cures that go unreported? My grandfather for instance, back in the day when they did not have the cure for Polio, used homeopathy on an ailing chil to help cure him, and surprise it worked. Recently, he used homepathy to slow down and subsequently reverse cataract on one of his patients. This is real, it's not just for play.
@kjlg74 Yeah for sure. Though it would have been nice if they had at least mentioned the whole #ten23 thing, which was kinda the point of having the event yesterday along with the hundreds of other events around the world... but at least it's something. heh. And now my wife (holding the camera at the beginning of the clip) is totally famous for being on the local news for 8 seconds...so there's that ;)
