if time has been stopped, all atomic particles are MOTIONLESS. meaning there is no energy used or created, thus no heat energy [so no burn], allowing you to go through the fire when time has STOPPED. Plus there is no air friction cause the particles are still. [thats how you can walk on water too.] when you slow down time, you will catch on fire. LEARN THE LAWS OF PHYSICS. Anyways. Timeshift is a masterpiece in my opinion. A game based on the laws of physics!

for that my friend, i have no idea. Are the lasers being fired when you stop time by opponents who can manipulate time also? If not, then i beleive it's a glitch or some other explanation. If they are time manipulators, then simple: since both of you are controlling time and can both stop time, your weapons work too, meaning the laser can be fired and hit you.

Heat is generated by atomic particles moving, more movement = hotter stuff. If I only slow down time, shouldn't the fire be just warm or something?

if you slow down time and you get in the way of the fire, the fire is attatched to you and unbound by the slowing down of time, so you do catch on fire. Same rule applies to the lasers; if you run into a laser, it is unaffected by the slowing down of time, since it was interacted with you, so it goes at normal pace and kills. XD

The new Timeshift is for PlayStation 3, PC, and Xbox 360. It's a cross-platformer for those interested so pick whichever one you feel more comfy with. Stupid debating petty arguments. Get the version you want, just word of warning, only get the PC version if you have a fairly high-end PC. Those $800 ones up at your local retailer probably won't cut it.

i just finished playing this game and you can see how how different the released version of this game is from the demo, it's not a bad game , just better instructions on how to use the timeshifting is needed and longer times when you are useing it, it's sort of like halflife 2 meets gears of wars, with POP thrown in

there is a time limit after use, and if you dont know what to use and when, ur gonna die, even on the lowest difficulty setting, your no spartan, your a guy with a time control jump-suit, not a guy with a steel 6 inch suit of armor like Spartan 117 (Master Chief(John))

I liked the look of this better, it was steampunk. The guns look mega awesome and complicated. The new version looks extremely generic, and has that Gears of War aesthetic I hate.
