You have intertwined two compelling stories with a wonderful and very moving version of this song . . . and your interpretation is inspiring. Your videos always evoke a range of emotions . . . as do GB’s wordless expressions. This is truly exceptional!
@heartsoulmindbody Thanks for your comment. His expressions are so telling and I find it so interesting to make videos. I was thinking he would have been good in silent movies.
@Blueeyed40 Thanks Jean. I was thinking about using the studio version but it sounded too high in pitch. I have heard her many times on TV and this seemed closest to how I felt her voice sounded. I appreciate your comment and support.
I have such emotion with your powerfull interpretation, song and picture selections that make up this remarkable video. Of all of his movies these 2 had the most potent beginnings and heartwrenching sad endings. And, yet, the endings certainly could have been different. On a tamer note, yesterday I happened to watch a video "The Beauty of Horses" accompanied by Gerry singing "Music of the "Night" Kind of a coincident! Thanks for another masterpiece!!
Breathtaking and very powerful video!!!!!!!!! When i saw LAC i was socked in the begining and very upset in the end!!! Gerard is great actor!!!!! Even if it's sad, i love it!!!!!!
Wow, very beautiful vidoe, fine effect with picture in picture, looks very originally and it's very good exactly fo this video. Very intense mood of the video nad it's finely done, very impressive and memorable video. Thank you & best wishes, Cathy :))
Wow, what a beautiful video and song. You did an extraordinary work here Joan. Loved the little screen on the left with family memories. Amazing. Deep. Just perfect.
@thesoulfuleyes She has a beautiful tone and warmth to her voice. There are very different interpretations for this song but this is what I felt from it. Thanks Diya.
This is so beautiful and so sad. Her voice is amazing and you have the gift to make a song even better with the powerful images you chose. This video is heartbreacking.
This is a very powerful video, Joan. Standing up for what one believes in despite adversity and incredible odds isn't easy, but that determination is inspiring especially to those who doubt themselves. Beautifully done. I've not heard this version of the song, but her voice is extraordinary.
Joan, you've done it again. Another masterpiece. I have heard this version (I don't remember ever having heard the original) by Susan; we have it on CD. Very powerful and emotional. Beautiful video.
So intense, so emotional....strength & sadness all at once, well done my Sister in GERRY,,,you are the Gerry video queen for sure<3
