WHY is it OK for that little irish creep Alan Joyce to accept a 71% pay rise, while he simultaneously fights to the death against a payrise applic'n of only a few percent by the 3 unions on behalf of their long-suffering workers. I KNOW what it's like to work under a ratbag management regime, too, where mng't cares NOTHING for the workers, only themselves & their unearned bonuses etc. This QANTAS Board comprises greedy expedient corporate ex-mining/banking magnates with an anti-union bias.

I do undertand it's hard for you guys, but no company can offer the same conditions as they once did 10 or 20 years ago, in this age of global uncertainty.
it would be nice if we could all have such job security and outstanding pay and conditions, but unfortunately in 2011 it's not the world that we live in.
