I've watched Family Guy since the pilot episode after the superbowl, and even the cartoon cartoon test type version from like 1997. So i've stuck by them for a long time, but it is true. It isn't as funny normally when you re-watch an episode, i like that they try to have a message sometimes but Home Movies i can just play 24/7 on my DVR and not get sick of the episodes.

Family guy is just a bunch of the same corny sex jokes that very slightly in every episode. It's also a bunch of flashbacks the cartoons that aren't as funny after the first time. McGuirk is always funny.

In the first season or so of Family Guy, Peter was hilarious; he didn't have to say anything - something about his eyes just made his silent moments golden. Ever since the show got renewed though, he's never had the same charm; he just milks retard jokes to death. McGuirk, on the other hand, practically single-handedly made Home Movies funny, with all due respect to Brendon Small and everyone else involved in making the show.
